hey my friend this is a very very nice track with tha right message. i also do praise music or should i say repentance music. im not big on being a critic, but i would go back and get the volume leveled, use alil compression on the vocals, also a lil more treble. i would pan my backup vocals left and right. if they are peeking red on the track meter then they are distorted. keep it below red. i really dont see much wrong with this track at all. i love it. cant wait to see whatelse you gone do.
Thank you sir! I kno that track can be worked on a lot more haha.. Yea, im learning the ropes behind mixing and mastering as well haha.. I gotta check your music out praise n repepentance alright.. I have another thats been released as well,
chile if you'd asked me about a duet, vocal arrangements, harmony or somn like that i wudda had ya back...but i'm a mix and master dummy as well!!
there are some really great and knowledgable ppl here who don't mind giving feedback, you just kinda gotta get out there & mingle to meet em. try posting a pella or two (side note: at times for me personally that becomes a bit overwhelming) but collabs build muzical "relationships" and come with a lot of good perks. sorry i couldn't help. :-)
as far as "something you did vocally", just be sure to watch your levels while recording. very good bit of advice given to me during my time here, put some compression on those vocals! that helped a lot! and (as loving as i possibly can say) muzic doesn't cover it. not sure what kind of mic you use or where you record and how you record, but all that plays a part as well. maybe your headphones arent allowing you to hear what you need to hear. best "dummy" advice for now, watch your levels, if you see red, the piece is dead. off for now. good luck and keep up the good work...mingle mingle mingle
very nice voice, track peaked in a couple places. i wouldve like to hear your vox a tad bit closer, sounds like they're too far away. but i like the feel of this, very relaxing, good for gettin in tune to worship. and the vocal arrangements are nicely and creatively done. good job.
Thank you so much for your critiques.. VERY Specific i really appreciate it! I SUCK AT MIXING, yet getting better lmbo haha.. Yea, the vox really did fade in and out, because it was somthing (???) i did vocally, and music covers it.. What do u suggest for that because this isnt the only piece noticeable Thanx (-:
yes - interesting right from the start - love the tone on the bass drum - and spacey synths - if there are guitar tracks, my ear missed em - but i enjoyed the piece!
