hey sixsatrs3300, the song uses the same sample so props to you, you have a great ear for music, i went with a more chill vibe then his rendition but they nonetheless sound similar, thank you for the feedback, people like yourself inspire me to keep going :) support me on soundcloud ill follow you back https://soundcloud.com/treeferlove
I love how the beat/music moves you along through the soundscape. I do believe a zombie apocalypse is a real possibility. Not the dead returning to life but maybe some infection, like rabies, that makes people go insane and behave like a zombie. Look at all the face eating incidents in the news lately!
thanks man, i made the soundscape all from call of duty nazi zombies, and it was kind of experimental. im dropping this on halloween so be on the look out haha ;) oh and zombies is totally possible. have you ever played the last of us? if not go play it on ps4, amazing zombie game
Hey Miles great track, I would agree with Amaranthion on the mixing aspect to give it a cleaner sound. Outside of that it's a really good track. I liked this a lot, keep it up
If I may be so free, I have a few thoughts which could lift this up quite a bit.
- At first the mixing could be a little more on point. Using mixing in general, fl EQ2 and the fl limiter would bring it all more smoothly together. The track is overkilled which is sad of the all the work you've put in which doesnt come out as it should
- Use of effects like sweeps, bassdrops and lifters will deff create a better overal listen as it can make perfect transitions.
Normally, I would be against this crazy distortion in the bass. But you managed to mix it in well and it really adds to the character of this song. And the jazzy feel is a definite plus from me. Great work.
