I love this one!! The mix on this one isn't as polished as the other you uploaded the other day, but the epicness is just the same! Great work, don't stop! Your music improves every time! :3
I'm liking the tribal mixed with industrial sounds. It's not something you hear very often! I kinda felt that the track was building up to something. Maybe some pounding tribal drums and heavier guitar and strings? It's the sort of thing you could really go crazy with and make it epic. Just a thought. Otherwise, awesome.
Lol you romantic bunch, you :P Great job on the strings, I like how they're panned accordingly. The vocal adds a lovely, dreamy element to the song and adds a strong sense of emotion to an already-great track. Keep it up!
Ahhh, if it was only a bit longer...this is pure gem in my books! This is done with skill and lots of good taste. The emotion flows to the point where it gives me chills...
Brilliant work!!
This is a very sweet little tribute to someone special. The percussion, strings and flutes sit well together and really convey your sense of joy. I enjoyed this very much.
Thank you for your comment! Very glad you enjoyed it. We enjoy composing music for each other, it helps with the emotion as we can feel it whilst imagining the music.
Aye, this one is a spot-on track. You've outdone yourself yet again, friends :) Those drums make this song so much more epic, and the strings are absolutely superb. I'm investing in that plugin soon, should all go well! :D
Wow! It is incredible! I like the sounds of strings and flute.
What software did you used to do this and how long did it take for you to do?
you have an excellent talent.
This reminds me of the days when new age compact discs were offered everywhere you looked, even "as seen on TV." It was really unavoidable around 1990 or so. I was happy to see that pass on, but not the loss of meditative living and peace which disappeared with it. So you can see that I appreciate it for what it is. I think this is mixed very well, and has some great musical merit. Thank you for sharing!
the first playtrough, I was waiting for the vocals but I didnt hear any.
second playtrough I noticed the vocals in the background,
they sound like synths, and I mean that in a positive way, truly amazing sound!
Yes, nice peaceful stuff, with strings the main feature.
0:25 drums sound OK and I like the kick pattern. However, 0:51 when the snare enters, it's just not good enough. Not a good snare sound and not suitable for this type of piece. Simply choose another...
Bass is subtle and doing a good supporting job. Kind of subtle funky.
1:17 flute lead is very good and emotive. Meshes nicely with the strings.
2:08 a useful break and pleasant piano runs.
2:35 bass a bit more prominent than before.
A decent fading, swirling ending. Glad you didn't cut it off too soon, as many people do (on Looperman especially).
Congrats though the main area for improvement is the drums and the snare in particular.
Ahhh, those wide strings. So silky and wide. And I like the bass part as well. The way it works with that progression is beautiful. And the flute part really makes it all come together. The riff it plays really is catchy. Great work, the drums could be mixed a tad better, but it's not bad by any means. Sounds a bit odd in the mix - could be something that is caused by the frequency spectrum of the drums when layered over the instruments. While it stands just as well on its own, I think maybe making a bit of room in the frequency spectrum may help it to fit in just right to make a more cohesive whole.
Those synth strings are so beautiful. It's like silk for the soul. And you've mixed the bass wonderfully; keeping it humming away underneath the other instruments. The progression is perfect, sorrowful refrains give way to uplifting moments of hope. This really was a pleasure to listen to.
Amazing track, wish I had some criticism to help you out but I really don't think I'd change anything. Better than many actual video game or movie scores I've heard. Keep doing what you're doing guys!
