Fantastic Chris...you know how it's meant to sound and my respect for your guitar ability grows with every track...and when you do sing,it's the whole package.
Ok..Now were talkin' Chris...where did this come from? It's great!
I think this is awesome my friend.
I love the opening chords and scales...I can't read music myself but I can hear it and I know what you have to do to pull this off,not that I do but my hand cramps just thinkin' about it.
I better get some coffee...you have more songs.
haha yeah spanish is my main style of guitar playing. I'd only just started playing it when i made this...i really should make an new up to date spanish song..its the only time i ever get to show off a bit really haha
Dude don't drink too much coffee! Everybody needs sleep buddy haha
Your voice is great Chris and being able to do both light and dark is a talent you either have or not...and you do.
Has anyone ever said the song was too short:)
haha yeah they have :p im just waiting on my buddy to make the rest of the much so we can get this song finished! Its rare i venture into the dark side haha
Excellent Chris. It's the air between your words and chords that create the emotional landscape that is so inviting, nothing forced and the message is very clear cause even if you didn't say it,which you do very well...your music still speaks loud and clear.
Well done
The acoustic is spread out nicely and the vocals are so sweet sounding!! What a nice mix Chris, everything sounds so nice, def your best work so far!! I'd love a copy if it's possible. Thanks in advance.
Man Chris you out did yourself on this one, love the lyrics, vocal approach, and music. This really is great from the beginning to the end. As always great quality, keep this up man, you really need to be discovered. Good job, Kyle
Hey Kyle! Haha man i swear you have put soo much confidence in me with your reviews!! Im gonna record an EP of all my songs when i get back to uni after summer and send them to some record labels...i mite as well try my luck haha
really beautiful electric/electronic gtr backing - that is cool subtle effective work! the track has a strange sweet vibe - if bonnie prince billy could quit being so affected he might approach something as good as this - will be on the lookout...
I haven't heard the original, but this is a great cover track! I agree that your voice is awesome and it should definitely be given more space in the mix. Wayne gave you the best recommendations for doing this, and I don't have much to add. Great work on this though, you should be proud!
The origional is much better buddy haha I have been sitting and trying to give t a lil more space...i soo dont know what im doing half the time haha :p I did what wayne said..gonna upload it soonish :)
Thanks for the listen and review dooooooooooood :)
Nice job chris, I like the full band version a lot, TheHumps gave the tips that I would have given. Keep it up man, any originals on the way? Email me and let me know improvewitherror@gmail.com good stuff as always. Kyle
Firt off, this is a nice song and I think a good choice for you to cover, it fits your vocals. I like the way you arranged this, nice dynamics overall. You vocals seem to get a little lost when all the instruments increase, around 2 min. Sounds like the electric guitar you have is mixed too close to the vocals or may be a bit too loud.
What I like to do a lot with my rhythm guitar tracks is to widen the stereo field a bit(or a lot depending on the song)so they are mixed to the left and right of the vocals. I really try to leave the center open for just the vocals and try not to have any instrument with similar frequencies competing with it in it's place in the mix. Kick and bass are ok down the middle, they have lower freqs and don't clash with the vox's freqs.
I'll even widen the stereo field and then pan the guitar track quite a bit left or right. I do this a lot with songs that only have a couple instruments to fatten the tracks up and fill the entire panning range, left to right.
I'm babbling now, lol, hey nice song Chris, hope any of this helps! Nice vocals again.
Dude keep blabbing haha i need help :p
I've been doing exactly what you saidd mann!!! Honestly thanks loadsss!! haha its helped thrack a lot :p Im gonna upload it again soon :)

Hey, I like you interpretation of the song, nice to hear it done differently from the original, you should try adding some strings or something like that to help give it a bigger sound. The recording quality is great. Nice job man.
