Because of this song I felt inspired to make you guys (the looperman community) a few slide guitar loops to use and abuse B-) I'll get some more done up too.
Happy birthday man! It's an awesome feeling to become an adult with more control of your life. Your track is so chill and flowing. Where did you get the guitar sample man? It's really strong and piercing with its own melodic path. Also, the bassline around 1:51 is specifically really creative. I'm not sure if that's a vst or a sample, but it's one of the best sounding slap bass I've heard in a track. Cheers man!
congratulations on becoming a legal adult! (just try to always hold on to a bit of that illegal child!). Love the groove and feel in first part. the 'switch up' is a bit of a surprise. Interesting and well done but I could have held with the original feel. Fantastic work, brother.
wow very nice chilled feel about this little gem, always a sucker for piano in piece's which you have use great here carrying the track along great with the beat and guitar, cant say I am a fan of the piano mix in the middle of the piece, detracts away from the earlier and after good work on the track, I actually restarted track as I thought my net was playing up, but it was still there in middle of track, apart from part mentioned, this is an outstanding piece of work, totally great use of strings piano guitar to tell a story and having a very relaxed feel...will fav as overall tracks was very well done...Peace...mosaic...
I see you must be a fellow Gemini like myself, (my birthday was on the 3rd & my daughters is today lol!) So Happy Birthday to you! This was a nice concept for this track, the mellow piano loop opening the tune lingering into the hip hop track was very chilled. I liked the "low audible samples / mixes" in the mid section of the tune. A nice chilled track for sure, great job.
AYYYEEE! yup, june 14th! Happy belated Birthday though! And happy birthday to your daughter as well! Wow, this month has gotta be pretty festive for you haha. Anyways, thanks for the listen! i really do appreciate your comment man! Means the world, much love bro!
AAHHHH SUNDAY!! Shortest horror story, beginning of my work week! Nice clean mix, did you play the piano and slide guitar on a midi keyboard? Sounds good B-)
:D very true my friend haha! And thanks (: Honestly, it was a bunch of layering of recordings with different velocities on the midi. I'm not really a piano player (can't read notes, play by ear and hand positions lol), and the slide guitar was a sample actually! I just really wanted to how the guitar some love, considering how much I love the sound of it haha. Anyways, I always ramble on im sorry, but thanks for the comment man (: It means the world to have people listen!
This is a interesting track, it does the listener the feel of "reviewing" their past in thought. Love the warm organ to set the mood and for a sec the guitar low in the mix kinda reminded me of the band and tune (Big Country). And the closing of the track with the "big drums" was very nice touch. My only critique of the track would be the long intro, which was something like 1:19? Don't know if you're planing on putting "vocals" to the song at some point. Other than that, a unique and very well put together track.
Wow, built this bad boy in an hour? It's quite a fun track, has a ton of potential but does seem a bit empty as it stands currently! You could go to town with this one though! I do seriously like those drums in the next segment, they sound very big. Is there any bass in this track? I think that could really beef it up a lot and make it feel like a massive track. Maybe throw in some crispy synth pads in the back to help it feel wide. Just some suggestions! Great track to start off with though, the guitars do their job in keeping the track interesting.
Good pop/rock song...to tell you the truth rock means completely another thing for me...maybe get the drums on the faster way, I mean not in bpm but in the groovy...hope you understand me... Guitars are o.k. they tell the story...:-)
All in all, good track but it could be much better...
You're absolutely right (: thanks for taking a listen by the way! Much appreciated :D And I literally created this track in about an hour and a half. Probably should have taken more time with it lol. And also, as usual, I get the friggin genre wrong again. I never know what genre it is after I finish. Thank you! And I'll update it in a bit! Again, thank you for the comment, and I'll try and fix this asap (: Much love man!
Saw this one, so thought would give a listen, liking the feelings coming through in the intro, maybe could have intro little louder vol wise, sounded real low, not sure if that's what you wanted, mean as in the feeling's you want to the track to start out then build up to when guitar comes in, really liking this piece, thought provoking and haunting at the same time, credit to you mate (sorry if not male)
Hey mosaic! First of all, really appreciate the listen (: It means the world to me (: To be honest, with this track I didn't really have a firm set or idea to begin with. It's more of a track that I had fun creating seeing how it hits pretty close to home lol. In terms of the volume thing, you're definitely right! I'll get to that first thing in the morning (: And in terms of the feel of the song, it's weird. As I was creating this song I pictured this story, and the track became more of a soundtrack to this story I was creating in my mind lol. I can see how it seems sudden and completely changed the vibe, but in a sense I guess I wanted it to do that. I wanted to reflect on the somber times, the happy times, the sad times, etc. All these thoughts rushing around your head in your final moments. I know I did a shitty job of explaining it lol, but all in all, it was a track that was made purely for personal listening lol. I didn't really think about how it would affect others :D Anyways, thanks for the help! Constructive criticism is the best way for any artist to grow (: Much love man! And I apologize if I completely rambled on in this reply lol
You are right about a haunting piece, but in saying that has a beautiful in sad way sound too, not much more to add, very nice work, will be sure to check out more of your works in future, if this one is a guide to what you do, In pressure stuff, don't remember you being here when I was last here approx 9 months ago but like what I hear, fav'd mosaic

Nice track! I think the first and the third parts with longer guitar sustain would have been better, but sounds nice anyway!
