This is interesting! I'm pretty fond of the arpeggiated synthesizer that you use quite a bit in here. The "complextro" section was not my thing, as it seemed a bit slopped - though the bass in that part had a good low end. The other sections seem very lacking in low frequencies though. Usually if I want to listen to this style of music, I will want my woofers moving. I hope I haven't been to critical, I don't know what else to expect when clicking on an electro track, as it's become synonymous with EDM now (booo). Either way, best of luck with your release!
Hey man! Thanks for the feedback! Guess you can't please everyone though haha
I agree, the track could've used a little more low end, but I find that it still works the way it is.
Also, I wouldn't necessarily consider Electro to have become synonymous with EDM, but closer to Complextro. But sub-genres are stupid anyways lol Electronic music is electronic music
Regardless, thanks again for your input! Hope you'll show your support by purchasing the 'Codera' EP on September 17!!
Woah! There's an insane amount of control here. The highs and the lows work together fantastically. I love how you keep changing the samples, to keep everything progressive (like the piano leads and the "ay!"s). I'd say your hard work has paid off. Congrats man :)
Wow! This is some very heavy stuff here man! You're improving in alot of your work man! I love the complexity you've put into this track. There's alot of rapid sequences and I'm sure that wasn't a simple thing to incorporate in either. I will absolutely fav this man! Cheers!
The rapid sequences weren't really the most difficult parts though. It was more the FX like the tapestop and the pitches that were the hardest. It was definitely a long-time coming for this track, but well worth the work!
wow I've listened to your first song post all the way to this song post. I'm loving the EP bro! I'd love to get in touch with you about future projects :] I'm totally digging your name too! hahahhaha skwishfish is so friendly and funny lol
From a musical prospective, your style is sick. It's very unique, and all of your work is mixed and mastered extremely well. Your synths and basses sounds extremely crisp in this song. Your lead is very catchy. I honestly have no constructive criticism to give lol. From your fx, to your progressions, this song is overall really great! Good work dude ;]
I love it all! This isn't the genre id first play on my ipod, but this is very well mastered and produced. There isnt too much or too little going on. Im waiting for that EP drop!
Listening as I comment. Mix sounds tight right off the bat. Slightly sidechained risers sound nice. Drop is pretty awesome ! Honestly I think it could have used a little more punch with some subbass & or kick(lowend) but that might just be me and over complicating/layering shit. Lowing the synth work on the drops/breaks very clean and audible. Overall tight track man !
Ez skwish
really liking the track and Goldens remix
thought i would drop a comment on the original
slick mix , really clean sounding
all the elements stand out the lead line has some fire in its belly cuts through the mix nicely
im sure u will find some one here that can knock up a bit of kewl artwork
sure will be a tidy e.p
good work man

What's this about an EP?
Extra long single back in my youth is that what it means today and does that mean you're signed with a label?
Sorry about my ignorance but I see quite a few people on here talking about releasing albums and EP's and tracks from albums and stuff. Are some of you making money?
An EP in today's lingo normally means "Extended-Play", but as most artists release EPs before they release LP nowadays I assume it is adopting more of an "Early Preview" definition.
As for a label, I am currently unsigned and release my own music privately. I produce, mix and master all of my tracks as well as print out all physical copies and merch out of pocket.
I have made money off of my EPs and LPs in the past, but currently the ones I have out are for free on my Bandcamp page. Check them out when you get the chance! You can definitely hear how I've grown as an artist.
Congrats on your upcoming EP! This track was really hyper and fun to listen to. Really liked that intro, and the build up from 0:15 to 0:30. Really capturing for me. Then from there, that build up becomes intensified, gracefully. Then that drop at 1:45 was a great transition. The bassline is happening steadily throughout, which is really nice along with some smooth leads. Then at 2:38, you changed it up with the drum patterns with repeating bassline and lead part for that segment. Executed that transition with ease. I loved that low bass kick to end that segment. From there, the track begins to lower its heavy hitting in a slower fashion, with the nice addition of the keys. Then begins to gradually return the hype, flawlessly. The outro was similar to that of that segment at 2:38, which was one of my favorable parts. Incredible track, man!
Nice intro! I like how the ambient intro quickly turns into a great bassdrop. If the drop was a bit more massive, maybe it would've been better but I like this one better!

review
Pros
-Nice beat
-The Piano is awesome.
-The Melody is catchy.
-At 1:16 min nice nice bass sounds.
-Voice who fit with the track.
-Nice transitions
Cons
- The outro freq is a bit too high you should use the same pitch as your intro ( I somewhat found the pitch lower).
So the score is 6/7 or 8.6/10 if you prefer
Peace
Appreciate the kind words and check out my other tracks as well!
