Super clean production on this! Good hook with the synth doubling. :D Breakdown just before the end is tight. I like this one a lot.

Thank you so much for listening. A little bit on the fierce side, but I just moved back home and my environment is what inspires my writing. Everything written and produced by me. The quotes at the very beginning and very end are excerpts from the movie, Rock N Rolla. Peace & Blessings

Liking the Rock N Rolla quote in the intro. Great movie. The music production is really on point. From the horn stabs to the sweet piano line on the outro, the track holds the listeners attention. It is never dull. You're voice has a great presence within the track, it punctuates your message in all the right ways. Great stuff.

Hey man, first and foremost, that is a great movie. I really resonated to this particular scene, and I discovered Lou Reed because of this movie, so kudos to you for knowing where it came from. Secondly, thank you for listening and I appreciate your feedback and I mean that from the depths of my soul. Peace & Blessings.

This will be the only comment from a chillstep artist, my comment is not enough sentences including the word deriving from a donkey.

Dude! I really like this!
Just one point : would sound better if the kick was a little more powerful!
But I love the rapping. Keep it up man!

BentonMcKenzie replied 29th Dec 2016 - 9 years ago

Paulynomial,

Thank you for your analysis. I made this beat back in 2011, and when they came over to the studio I just was going over the catalog of tracks I made. They instantly jumped on this one so we recorded to it. I'll admit, I need to re-mix the beat but I just wanted folks to hear what we had so far. Your ear is on point. Peace & Blessings.
