Freakin nice track bro! My first listen was on one of my PA's with the bass cranked up on the eq. It was so deep and loud it scared my cats out of the room lol. I would play this on any dancefloor even tho dubstep isn't my genre, i'm feeling inspired by your work. Great professional production my friend.
Serum is a fun synth to use, no? I think the biggest advantage to it is being able to see what your warp effects actually do to the waveform (that, and being able to modulate literally everything).
Regarding the track; I loved the mix of double and half time! Double time can really bring that much more energy on the drop; its a shame I don't see it as often (or perhaps thats just me). Switching it back down to half time after double time also reinforces that 'badass swagger', I find. As far as criticisms go (other than what Wobbin mentioned regarding loudness), I would have liked a little bit more from the middle frequencies in your growl at 0:55, which came off to me as a little bit dry. But thats pretty much it as far as I can hear.
Quick question for my own curiosity; which warp modes did you find yourself using most? Coming from Massive, I used the Bend modes a lot, but recently I've been finding a lot of enjoyment from the Asym and Mirror modes, as well as FM from Osc.
This is a splendid track! Dubstep is not something i'd choose from first hand as a liking, but I can certainly enjoy it time to time. This hypes me up so good, I can't sit still listening this :D
Some minor feedback:
1) I know its often in Dubstep, but for me the 0:30 and 2:19 spin comes in a bit to loud. It being unexpected is perfect tho. As well as the timing and all. I'd personally just swipe the volume of it down just a 10-20%.
2) 1:48 and 3:25, a delay/echo from the main chorus sounds for just a sec or 2 after its finished while going into the break adds a extra pro touch.
Overall its already extremely good! Just my 2 cents. Keep doing what you’re doing! Faved this bjoetie
I GREATLY appreciate your feedback! To quickly address your points:
1) I think you may be right, so in the future if I have similar types of noises in my tracks I'll make sure to give them a slightly longer volume sweep in. That way it won't spook people!
2) Good point, I would only worry about it muddying up the plucks that follow after, but if I were to end the track after a drop like that I will DEFINITELY follow that piece of advice.
Thanks a ton. The only way I can get better is with constructive criticism like this. It may not seem like a lot, but it really does make me a better producer!
Really great, man! Love this from start to finish! I also checked out the visualizer that you mentioned in your forum post and I enjoyed that as well. How is a visualizer like that made? I see them all the time and I always wonder.
I use Adobe After Effects and a free template that this guy was distributing on YouTube. You just plug in the information and render out the video! Thanks for the feedback!
I actually didn't use a vocoder once in this song, but I think you thought I did for the "terror squad" bass, right? Wow, now that I listen to it, it DOES sound like a fucking vocoder XD!
Hey man....Love that lead synth in the beginning ...love the whole vibe of this track! I can FEEL the energy great work!! What program did you make this with ?
I use FL Studio. I have tried Ableton, and I worked with Logic for a while, but nothing tops FL Studio's piano roll! I use Serum for a lot of the complex basses, but simpler things like leads and chords can be realized in Massive.
Dat intro doe. You've caught my interest from the very start! And dat drop doe. Really wasn't expecting that. Nice flow, makes me wish I could produce something that has this much energy and feels in it. Download and fav brother! Thanks for the inspiration and the comment on my newest song. Keep at it man
Its amazing except for one thing. The Build and drop are in different keys which sounds pretty weird. Other than that its good. *eagerly awaits next upload*
The subbass on the drop is in the same key (I believe Fm) as the buildup, and when the main distorted bass is modulated, it does stay on Fm for a good amount of time. I make sure that when I compose tracks, that they all stay in the same key, because that drives me nuts too XD!
What software did you use to produce this? It sounds really good! The drop is very heavy and I like that. Who are your biggest influences? Skrillex and Getter mainly influence me.
I use FL Studio, with a ton of other third party plugins, as well as samples from the Looperman community. I'd have to say my greatest influences are Virtual Riot, Zomboy, and Barely Alive. Thanks for the feedback!

Great track, and keep going with Serum.
