I understand your viewpoint, promenade :) But I must admit that the utter excitement I get at hearing a beautifully and emotionally-perfected mix on the radio with a crystal-clear signal steals my heart away everytime. It drives me to want to keep improving, hearing the perfection some radio songs bring. You don't understand my love for a beautiful mix :) I'm drawn to it like a moth to light. I will sit down and critique a mainstream hit - what I don't like and what I do like -and try to figure out what they're doing in their mix for hours. The emotion such beauty evokes within my very being is too intense to explain with words :P I agree that there are many old songs out there that are good though. I have a rock song that will be arriving on the Loop soon :P It's my first published work off of my new rig!

Awesome track, love the feel of everything, definitely sounds like something that would come on the radio and I wouldn't think twice about the quality, sounds exactly like the music my gf loves and I have no input other than sounds good and keep it up

Thanks, SP! It wasn't too difficult to get this song the way I wanted it since at this point, two years into my production "career," my method for recording acoustic has pretty much become second-nature. But it was time consuming :P

This is too good...your voice got that special shadowed plus cause of the flu or stg...I don't mean it needs but no problem with that...
3 mins easy listening pop with chartish melodies again...like the chorus when the bass comes in...

This is beautifully constructed. Very up-lifting! I really like the simplicity of the track. I'm also really digging the drum patterns you used. I'm positive if you remaster and rework this, I have no doubt it'll be beyond incredible. Your vocals are insane, even though you were sick at the time. The mix is not too bad: the song has definitely a lot of potential.
You can make really good pop songs: nice guitar lines and enjoyable vocals.
It would be interesting to hear how you "redo" this: I can imagine that you can improve several aspects of the song.

Very Nice - love the guitar work - somewhat reminiscent of 'Mountains of the Moon' from Grateful Dead. Like the vocals but they are a little hot. Good production and structure. well done.
