Crazy mix mate. Kinda jumps around on a person (makes me think of what it'd be like if the turntable were under the {artificial} influence, haha). What happened to your turntables if ya don't mind my asking? I used MixStation 3.1 for my stuff BTW. Anyways, cool groove mate. Thanks for sharing (& crediting me). Later on!
Hello!
I listened to all your tracks and it's one of the most interesting things I've heard on looperman.
This one is definitely great.I love the dark and weird side which make me think of a combination of Mussorgski and King Crimson.I'm gonna add a few tracks to my profile and as I'm an absolute beginner in using loops and samples I'd like to get tips and advices so feel free!
I have to agree with helven about the drums. It certainly lacks a discernable beat, per se, but it's a great start to something far more awesome. I hope to hear this one evolve!
Totally dig the ramshackle style! Reminds me of a lost song from one of those great seventies artists. Sorry to hear about your cousin, but his memory lives through a funky and unusual piece of music. Can't ask for a whole lot more than that. Peace, Six
The only bit of Latin that I fig'd would be fitting here. Taken from the movie Event Horizon- "Save yourself from hell!" An ironic statement coming from a language of a poly-theistic society. If you don't mind I might have a go at this. It just has somethin that pokes a person in the chest, ya know? Thanks and lates!
Look at all the pretty colors! This sir, is a very healthy dosing of experimental. It's so nice to hear something that doesn't fit in with the general constraints typically found in most music. And to make a song with virtually no drums either, I'm shocked (gasp). Vision getting fuzzy...And... Feeling weak... Must... Sit... Down... Haha. Interesting stuff you've got going on here mate!
Small bar oriented. I could totally see this being played at some beach tiki-hut type of joint while kickin back sippin on a Corona. Maybe your cousin is doing exactly that in the ever-after, may he rest in peace. My only request is to add somethin like a Boron or a Herdy-Gurdy to it. Lates!
This is soundin super Euro to me. Like I could so see this being played at some kinda super party in front of the Arch de Triumph in France (kinda like was done with one of Paul Van Dyk's older videos off of his 7-Ways album). Pretty decent. Lates!
trance isnt really my scene, but i gave it a try anyways
I loved the 7 second where it picked up
then gave way to the classsic trance style..then you added in some more ambeit things behind it.which gave it a pretty creative edge
good job
I had to hear it and I'm glad I did. I love when people use my stuff because it's rare. I'm not usually popular for my loops but for my big mouth in the forums. lol. If I can get the time I'll post more.
On to the track now: I'm liking the way you shred a loop to fit what you want. The three songs that I know of that use that piano loop have all been rather unique using the same loop. That's why you gotta love this site!!! I have to say this track takes on a gothic persona (I mean that in a complimentary way). Mind you I'm waaaayyy too drunk to write a proper review but I'll be back when my buzz wears off. LOL.
On side one ya have- 'What happened?' I'm imagining that the Korg overloaded n got fried?
On side two ya have- 'Try it blindfolded and/or with earplugs!' It might just shock n amaze you then. The soft keys that is.
This track is a perfect stargazer piece. Kinda like the song from Close Encounters of the Third Kind (real UFO terminology, BTW), but without any alien spacecraft. Choice!
