I really enjoy the Rap that has the techno to it. It adds a lot of flavor to it. I'm kind of big on there being some melody in there. Old rock and roll dog. Danger, Danger, danger Will Robinson. Real nice job.
Thanks Blair. There used to be a fuller melody, but it was taking over the rest of the song to much, so I chopped it up in just three little sniplets.
I working on this track at the moment, I'll let you know.
Cheers Julien.
I'm agreeing with Planet. Doesn't really need lyrics. If added I'd say whoever does it to go light on the lyrics. Just a little here and there. Real nice.
You know it's funny while this tune would be a great vehicle for vocals...I just love it the way it is..introspective and gentle..great thinking music!....great placement of the piano in the mix, just the right amount of echo......very sultry and summer day cool!.....great touch on this one....cheers planet
Wooow thanks Planet! Your comment has to be in my top ONE of the more encouraging comments...
I like it as it is too, but if someone is in luurv, it would be nice to hear them with this as a backing track.
Thanks for reviewing it.

This track rocks, dont change anything mate, its an awesome trip-hop track ;) - i have a few on the way so i may upload them, perhaps ill make my 4th album ;P
thanks for the audio pleasure,
And on the electronic note, my stuff tends to sway that way occasionally :P
Cheesy. Amanda, you have the tools to solve this problem!
Umm, that was from one of the Orange Underground Cheeto's commercials from a lil while back.
Daam Jim, I'm amazed you were able to take this track and twist it like ya did. That was like my first Cassette tape, evar. Haha, there was me, 5 years old, rawkin out on a piece of cardboard, actin like I could breakdance, man! Memories...
The drums were almost Daft Punk-esque and the synths ya used to sub out Mike's vox were wicked. Especially, the lower toned ones. Hella kudos mate. Sav/fav'd. Lates!
With having longer hair is that sometimes it causes the headphones to just slide right of yer head. In some ways, the ole 'High n Tight' had it's advantages (though it made me look like a major mo-mo re-re), haha.
So onto the track, the part I'm on now with the vocals is remindin me of some of DJ Keoki's stuff off of his album, Ego Trip.
In relistening, the two things I'm gonna suggest are remastering the beginning with somethin to make it smoother. The end could use a fade (or lengthened Cymbol crash). In between it sounds pretty tight. You pretty much nailed it. If you were wanting to go that extra mile you could maybe stand to amp up the bass just a hair (perhaps adding some slight reverb or gate). Other than that this is one slammin track. Lates!
You always have the different approach with tracks. Respect on the kick, delay and different sounding snare plus bass line!!!BIG RESPECT out to you mate. this is excactly what I like about your tracks the fact that you search for new sounds. Feeling this one defo and on the D/L.
My pleasure, I'm glad you like it. Please give me a shout when your track is made, I'd love to listen to what you've come up with the sounds.
Cheers S.
I hate that noseless wonder and like his monkey better than him..........Well now that the pleasantries are over lets get down to business...this is GREAT!..very.very addictive and walks all over the original....I like covers as long as the performer stamps his own style on the song..there's nothing worse in my book than mindless plagiarism......not only does this song have an amusing quality it's a funky groove all on it's own.......great idea and execution!....cheers planet
I tried to be funny with this one using different sounds. For my next cover I'm thinking of making Jump by Van Halen, elevator style...
Thanks for the kind words.
Cheers S.
Like the others say, not much left to do here. but you say your going to tweak and twist the synth a lil', well I cant wait to hear how it sounds then!
trancy track with a hip hop feel... like a corporate merge or smth.
nice...
i kno am no expert yet n its not that i wanna criticize or smth, but u shud get some1 to rap on it. a gud rap on dis beat n ur gud to go ^_^. cheers
