nice job! welcome back; you seemed to have disappeared for a bit. i never really commented on your stuff in the past though, just cuz i was too much of a newbie back when you were pretty active.
for that synth at the intro, id put a reverb insert on the track itself (in addition to routing the track to a reverb bus) if you haven't already. if you have, turn up the reverb more. it will make the synth feel even more out there (and take away the clicky harshness of the synth when its triggered). i don't know how well this will all work though.i forgot to mention how much i love the piano playing too! =D
not bad, but drops are so weak, nothing interesting happens, i'll give you an example: use first lead before drop, use one new lead after drop with same melody as first lead, this should do the magic, peace
Some of the mid range synths, need a little less then a 5db push
in the top end...It would help them stand their own ground and give
them distinction in the mix...
And you wouldn't have the mud you hear...
I would chop the intro in a different, but that's just me...
Other then that Man It's top shelf...Cool track...
Been a while bro. First off, really like that synth at the beginning. Gives off some MMBN vibes, mostly from the synths. Digging the instrumentation, really creative. Keep it coming man! peace
I hear this as pretty generic kind of stuff that I generally wouldn't listen to.
However, and this is the good bit, as I'm listening I'm finding myself more and more impressed with how it's all been put together.
0:45 extra drums make this kick somewhat like a mule.
Then some fun dubstep leads and bass. And I say that as someone who mostly hates that sort of dubstep. But it would work just fine on the dancefloor.
1:49-2:28 is a skilful long build.
"a lot of mixing issues going"
No, sounds pretty damn good to me.
Overall: these are sounds I've heard many, many times before so they don't really move me emotionally. But, it's very well crafted and has a big, fat sound. For people into this kind of thing, I think it's really good.
hello. good to see you producing. I really like the first section (till 1:00). it's very stylish and makes me think of Ambient Galaxy or Enlightened Evolution from 90's Astral Projection. I must say all that modern synth screaming dubstep stuff introduced later on your track scares crap out of me as it is far away from my listening prefferences but I can really appreciate the effort and production. keep at it.
