Went through your Looperman page and it's awesome to see that you're trying out lots of different music styles and experimenting. Keep it up!
I'm not really enjoying this song. Overall, it sounds like a ton of samples just mashed up together. They could sound good individually, but they don't really work well together.
Another problem I have is that, even though there are a lot of elements, the song doesn't really feel like it evolves. Some parts simply seem to come out of nowhere. Transitional elements would definitely help in this aspect.
What I would suggest is to break free from using samples all the time for a song. Try to come up with your own elements, your own arrangements and melodies. That way you'll really grow as an artist.
I don't want this to come off as too harsh, but I'm just being honest. Keep working and making more music!
yes i can picture it now, are you fed up with the same old washing up liquid then buy this sparking new foam today hahaha with the music in the background hehe lol, thanks for your comment, i just love what i do with a passion
yes it's really great how amazingly i put it altogether, and it didn't take too long lol, just a few hours lol, but no it's not my vocals but i put the track together :) i decided to upload it on hear to see what comments i got, glad you liked it, and thank you for your comments
Pretty amazing production for one night. I love the absolute crap out of this, with one big exception. The music is banging. It's really great, with a lot of evolution, changes, breaks, drops, and a terrific groove to carry you through. That part's amazingly good. I think the vocals are a tad underwater in the first part, a bit deep in the mix, cuz when you hear them more clearly in the next section with quieter music, you hear the beauty of the voice, but not so in the first part. But the big issue for me is the lyrics. Forgettable, a string of cliches, feels like placeholder lyrics to me at this point. Forgive my bluntness, but this fantastic music deserves fantastic lyrics, with more punch, sparkle, freshness, interest. Take the lyrics to the next level and this is a hit. Hope that helps!
this is a really good track. would i be able to get permission to use this in some of my wedding videos and I will put you and the song in the credits at the end?
Hey TC cool track man!..I really like the intro and the way the snare fits within the mix, you've got some big moves happening right across the board, synth city! this is a huge sounding production with some heavy hitting dramatics involved but the way you've blended all the transitions makes for great continuity throughout..definitely a banging track which would push any house system to it's full potential...big thumbs up mate! cheers Dave
this song is filled with alot of emotion. this may not have been what you intended but this is what I take from this piece. the begining is very haunting and innocent. beautiful. when you get to 3:01 the snaps beat does seem a little off but that gave me a sense of a slowing of time among chaos.then the reality of events hits. the end is the coming together to help. strength and sadness. I am with tumbleweed on sad music can be the most beautiful bring forward our deepest emotions. great job.
Appreciate the way you went about composing & arranging this one topclass...and man, I`m really loving listening to it..music that others consider sad, I often just consider beautiful...it always speaks to the emotions...I wasn`t sure that finger snap beat part was quite in sync the section around 3:30 but its not distracting.. You paint the picture well and deliver on the descriptions you noted, and to me that is a fab musical accomplishment...a big well done to you....and peace to Manchester from the rest of the civilized world....Ed
many thanks Tumbleweed for your comments on this, i'm glad you really liked it, the only reason i decided to put that kinda finger snapping beat in at the last mo as to represent in a way time
well i don't normally do this type of music, but i felt the need to try considering of a tribute on the events in Manchester
I love the thought and artistic value that you put into this! I'm wondering, though, how did you make get those music box sounds in the beginning? I've been wanting something like that forever, but I don't know how to create those sounds! Could you let me know, thanks!
THC in large quantities!
Reminds of being a head banging hippy way back when.
I was of course a trippy relaxed hippy too ... now and again.
Reminds me of something from back then but I can't put my finger on it.
Wizard someone says ... yeah I can see that.

That high pitched sound is great and really sets the groove. Nice and fluid panning on it.
