Hi, how are you CincoCent. I did this thing three years ago and have now polished it up a bit and just wanted to show it around again. Personally, I'm quite happy with my guitar work here, and I'd love to have some strong horns a la Kid Creole as well, but that's not easy to replicate. Pane's kind of dropped off the face of the earth... he hasn't reported back to anyone for three years or more. I hope nothing happened to him down there in East Africa. I am very happy that you like my track. I made this 3 years ago, but recently remixed it and added a little bit here and there. I don't want to go unmentioned that as with all of my tracks, all of the instruments are played by me, so no loops or samples, except for the drums and background effects. Yep, I'm into the good old shoemaker's trade. Thank you for the nice visit.

Nice that you stopped by my club again. And thank you for the applause!
I stole the bass theme from an 80s album by singer CRISTINA. Their eponymous album was produced by August Darnell aka Kid Creole and Andy Hernandez (Coati Mundi) and is a kind of disco work of art. There is the track "Blame It On Disco" from the middle part of which I "taken" the bass figure. Cristina's album should be dug up again, because it's a beautiful document of the times and August would certainly be happy too...!

Hey Chris, thank you for your nice comment. Well, this track is already 3 years old and meanwhile I've become a bit more self-confident when it comes to my music. That's also the reason why I dug up this track again. I think the comparison to the B52's just comes from the screams and heckling from the girls I used there. I can't explain it any other way. But I've often noticed that people sometimes make the strangest comparisons. Music is to a large extent a very emotional and subtle matter. Sometimes it gets extremely weird: I've been told that my music sounds like BONEY M... Daddy Cool, Ma Baker and stuff like that... I really didn't agree with that though and... yes... I was also a little offended! But even that was probably meant nicely.
AND it's still the case that comments like this nice one from you give me a huge boost. Thanks again. Cheers

Yes, I think a good intro is a discipline in itself. It's kind of like the intros to good movies that kind of whet your appetite and set you up and then slide you in. Thanks again.

Hey Wayne, the same thing happened to me once with Joe....I have no idea what's up with him. I overheard something like he was sick. No idea.
Yeah, KC man... they can't easily be dismissed as dance pop... it's a little bit more than that. Their guitarist, Jerome Smith (God bless him) was the reason for me at the time, me too get a Telecaster. I loved his style of playing rhythm guitar... Nile Rodgers cites it as one of his influences.
