Exactly what I was talking about, but didn't even know it. I've often thought about doing a track like this. Sooooooo cool. Wow.
There should be more tracks like this. In fact, I'm going to update the post, refer people to your track again with a specific urgency and call to make tracks like this!!
Cuz like it just captures a moment in time the way we should really on this site more often than we do.
Wow! ! Ive always been very attracted to this kind of music. Such a great song and a good story behind it. Absolutely love it. Deff adding to my favs. Im glad i discovered.
Dude belive it or not this made me light up a smoke. This is awesome! I love your tone of voice. Dude you drop the f bomb like once a sentence. Sounds like you ate some mushrooms and turned on the mic and talked whatever came to mind. Very cool in my book! This whole track is kinda trippin. I like that little riff you start out with when you finish rambling crazyness. Good work dude!
thanks neil this truly is a classic amongst the gadget fans! not too far gone just kinda pulled a billbozo if you know what i mean "god bless looperville"
Hey Bud I meant to leave a review on this on earlier --you and Rita did a bang up job on this. I luved your take on the song!! This was very creative and shows that you tell every to describe the same picture and no two people will say the same thing!! Take Care Fila
thanks Filaofsoul it was cool to have the girlfriend involved with this one it gave her a better understanding why I have the headphones on my head so much! She really enjoyed going into character and for a moment becoming someone else!
I loved the song....because the guitar's slow 50's country rock picking style, and of course your vocals. That's what I like the most......people telling there own stories. Great job Peace.
Man this track was sweet. I especially liked the keyboard progression and sound - Harmonica was spot on!! Your voice reminded me of somebody but I just cant put a tag on it right now!! great job!
Filaofsoul
I think your really "Joe" out of Country Joe and the Fish!...I think I saw you in a clip from Woodstock....This is way cool...I also think you should get a ten gallon hat..for some reason I always picture you in one or imbibing in what you can hide under one!.....Funny thing is if you had of walked on stage at Woodstock and performed this song....you'd be famous..I mean more famous than you are now!..cheers Dave ;)
thanks planet glad ya liked it its an oldie but a goodie! its actually a true story based on the ramblings of a southern gentleman, that crossed my path a while back!
Hey Johnny great to see you back in the drivers seat with a tasty blues tune dedicated to none other than your better half Rita...Cool!..I love the harp...(would really like to get the hang of it myself..can't figure out the breathing in change ups though! lol)..this tracks got that nice deep Gadget baritone vocal measure a sure fire mood setter in any application...it's also good to hear some good old honest Blues again, anybody could be forgiven from thinking this place has turned into Hip Hop town..but I digress...long live the Gadget Music Factory..viva! cheers planet :)
And then to top it off as if it couldn't get any better a back to back review from the planet man himself! Whoooo Hooooo!!!!!

Hi Mr Johnny G, as you know I'm a huge blues fan (Joe Bonamassa is my number 1 listen at the moment), this is a great song true to the blues. Strong lyrics, proper harp playing, original vocal = top tune in my book....
Nice! Don't hear too much classic blues these days. Good song.
I felt that overall this song would benefit from a better production mix. The vocal seems a bit forward. It had an echo-type feel to it that I think would benefit from a more balanced mix. Loved the song/guitar/harmonica. Don't take my comments too seriously. I wouldn't comment if I didn't really like it. :)
Good job!
Well Koble I take all reviews seriously (well most of them, except for the "nice track","good job", reviews! I appreciate it when I can get an honest unbiased opinion, and critique of the music and/or production! this is (to me anyway) what makes Looperman What it is! "Thanks", will try and make some adjustments! ...........G.
(LOL)Johnny you have a great sense of humor, this was a great twist on Barry's track. Loved the circuit busy samples and your pleading to your beloved; and she was great in her role by the way. Very creative, enjoyed this one a great deal. Still working on mine and you guys aren't making it easy that's for sure. (lol)Great job, peace. D
Hi Johnny, totally original track! I love the lyrics man, you can't beat the odd swear word to get the message across. I like the drum sound (nice and tight). Love the ending!!!
thanks slap this was an oldie but a goodie! redid to upload on springer.com but I didn't make the top ten! but still an all time favorite amongst friends and family!...........thanks for the killer review!
Your one crazy man Johnny! I love that avatar you have, Magnum PI does Monty pythons holy grail lol,,.. Anyway, this is a great twist on Barrys track. I love the concept, the noodling blues guitar licks, and the whole telephone thing is genius....
Thanks for the killer review slap it just seemed right to include Rita hottie in this track! she had so much fun throwing this down it was silly! more to come I swear!...............G.
