I've never heard the original, but I honestly liked this! This track sounds really mainstream. I think it can use a bit work though. Some of the parts in the drop sound a bit off key. It's not too off, just a smidge really. I also think you should remove some of those sweep up effects you used in the beginning as it's not really necessary.
Regardless of those minor things, I think you did a really great job with this one!
Can I try to use this in a game I'm making? It's a horror game taking place mostly in woods and old mansions and I think this track would be perfect to the woods before everything goes wrong, or afterwards in the credits? Let me know could I? Thanks.
