Laid back and cool...I think the drums need some changes as it's holding everything without letting it go..I'm with Randy as well a bit more bass would be nice....but the chilled out vibes are all there..breezy and introspective....nice!..cheers planet :)
hey mate ;)
yer this is good tune! great vox and git work! your voice has a great tone to it! really sets the mood well!
thanks for using my beat loop, much appreciated. im glad you like my beat loops (got plenty more on the way). i like how you used one of my dubstep loops here and merged it with your great git and vocal skills!
great work my friend! i look forward to hearing more from ya!
thanks..i really like your loops..when i make a song i always start with the beat..it has to inspire me and yours did just that..thanks for sharin..Im not great at makin tracks with only loops..i rather play the instuments myself..Man thers plenty of good talent on this site makin tracks with only loops...anyways..thanks again..peace Dvibe
Nice pleasant listening track here. I think you need to have more bass coming out. The keys are fine and the beat as well. Does have a nice latin feel to it as KapKurt already mentioned..
Nice job Dvibe.
Thought that I'd stop by here and check out your latest tunes.
Well, my opinion of this song is that it is too slow. I think it would sound much better at a faster tempo. But, that is just my opinion.
Nothing wrong with the words or the guitar playing or your voice as far as I'm concerned. 31 folks listened to it and I'm the 1st reviewer? Strange eh?
Being a ole school bass player- This has a lot of potential- flow was nice and even- a little low on levels as stated but I got the groove on this one -- Nice job!! Fila
Thanks Mo...I really enjoy playin bass..its only been 3 months now...but i play guitar for years ..it helps..Love the groove to the bass..
ill look ya up and get back to you..
Very spacey vibe you've got going on here.....with an eighties rock stamp of approval on it..good work..Oh while I'm here I noticed on your profile page that some of your stats have been obscured by the add margin..this is caused by not leaving a space between words in the My influences/Fav Artist section...after ever comma use the space bar and it should fix this problem...apparently without the space..it stretches the page...cheers planet :)
Just listening to this as I type. I guess I can't add anything different than what 'Toddj' said above about the overall sound.
I think it is really good for a 1st time tune. Mine was a country one. I haven't played any house type tunes myself.
Anyways, keep it up, your doing well from the other 3 tunes I have heard and reviewed of yours.
Best to play your tune back over different sound systems if you can to check levels, etc. Then re-adjust a level if needed.
(Home stereo, headphones, automobile, etc).
Another nice tune. Makes a diference if there are vocals in a song. I don't sing at all, so I have to make sure my tunes are interesting and not boring.
I think you did a nice job on this song as all the others I've heard.
thanks...really appreciate..Randy..you dont have to sing cause your instruments sing man...
Mine are ordinaire in a way..so goota fill in with words..thanks again..Peace Dvibe
Another cool tune. I like the sound of this one as well. Playing with loops is a lot of fun. Probably half of my songs are loops. Of course all my drums are loops as I don't play them or own any.
Thanks Randy, yea I really like this one..
a question I have..with your drum loops ..If i did a song starts light low profile on drums and then harder drums for chorus etc ..goes back smoother..how do ya do this with loops..??Like alot of songs the drum is not a regular beat like i do cause i dont know how?6..Peace Dvibe
ooh la la :0), like your tracks dude, very different and creative, only thing iz, you may wanna work on hiss reduction, get some quality gold plated connectors for your bass guitar and push levels to reduce noize. just some positive crit, acctual tunes are ace tho, keep em commin...
Thks for your comment..yea I know sometime my sounds not that great...i really have minimum equipement..I see what i can do for those hisses..
Thanks again...peace...Dvibe
Thanks again Toddj,I can record my music and I do compos also..But im not that good at mixing loops like you do and many others do on this site..
Peace ....Dvibe
This song is very Zen. I like the simplicity. It's good to hear your guitar stylings. Your vocals also make this a nice listen. I can feel the soul in your voice. Reminds me of some Peter Gabriel. Mabey even a little bit like Bob Marley or his son Ziggey.I most of all love the message of this song. Nice bit of song writing.
Glad you liked it and that the lyrics were well received and the message it came with..Others have told me my voice was similar to Peter...
Music comes from the Soul..thats what music is all about.. peace Dvibe
Yea..for collab..hit me when ready...I checked out your Tracks..nice..put some more up..i like them..I downloaded one and might add guitar licks ..ill tell ya if it works out...Peace...Dvibe...Man dont ya love this looperman site..congrats to whoever started it...
Pretty smooth. Like your vocals. Your song's got soul. I'm not familiar with Lou Reed. But your voice reminds me a bit of Moby's. He has some pretty good material. He covers a wide range.
I'd like to hear a remasterd version of this one. Keep it up man. Cool stuff!
There is deffinitley some issues with the sound levels and the balance and flow of this mix. But thats all right because you have to start somewhere. Just try to mix your song as though you were playing all the instruments in a band. Figure out what elements you want And then arrange around those main elements. And make sure that your sound levels aren't clipping too much.
I can admit that my first time wasn't very good. I experimented for severial years and practiced. Read some books and music making magazines. I'm still not an expert. right now I'm just limited to mixing loops which is how I got started. I use Acid as my main program for arranging and mixing. I got my start on PS2 Game Console version of Magix Music Maker. Then found out it was much easier to do on the computer. If you keep your eyes open you can find a fairly cheap one or two instrument input device that can allow you to make some pretty decent guitar and vocal recordings. Keep working at it and practicing. I cant wait to hear some more Mixes from you.
YEa not bad for my first time...I wasnt really sure where i was going ...just wanted to try...I uused loops on this site just to try it out..But if you noticed the last 5 songs i did i just used someones beat and i play the instrument myself..I feel more comfortable that way sinceIm a musician..im not really a DJ...but ill try it out again thanks to your tips...Peace Dvibe
It's got a nice groove. I'm sure the dobroh sounding guitar is to sound a little detuned It almost doesn't blend with the rest of the track. It's not too bad though. the rest of the production is sweet. Reminds me of something Moby Might have done or an old timer like John Lee Hooker. Keep the funky groovin going on.

Getting around to review a few of your tunes back.
I like this song here. The vocals are nice and I guess it does sound sort of like Phil Collins as someone else mentioned.
I like the music and the background. I think you did a real nice job with this tune.
