Its a good song. What synths are you using for this?
There are some really good sounds in here, i think with a better structure and a lot of work on the drum beat it has a huge amount of potential to be very good. You should send me the patches to remix it.
hey man this is cool. i would suggest maybe changing the bass up a bit too fit the vocals more. Although that grooving on a single sound / note works really well in something like a dubstep drop i think with the vocals throughout the main sections it sounds a little off when the bassline doesn't change. Peace.
This is scary. Like a sex party for crack attics. They got bobby brown and I think that was the one dude from bbd. This got all the fancy lights and coloring books and latex, cant forget the latex. The sirens got that zip up feeling for the latex. That Prince lil cousin on the vocal. This for sure fortified. This is amped, high alert crunkness. You got the freaky african chick with the bone in her nose freaking out. Then when the singer came back on it sound like he speaking inanother tongue. This makes me hungry. The sun is shining outside, I think I heard A dinosaur fart. Now at the break down when it come back it like that old folk home fun night when it got a vistor come in and all the old people jus coolin out. The dude singing would have one them silver mics old school.
I like this song, it funny to me, no disrespect at all. Nice work.
Ahh yeah ..I'm familiar with this style it,seems to be categorised by the sine waves used...I like this..maybe it needs a really low air moving sub bass going through it unmercifully...I only say this because it seems to be a prerequisite for the genre, hell I don't know! Jahknow's the expert,lol..cool vocal inclusions..your nearly cross pollinating here with that quasi scratch effect,it's all cool though..cheers Dave
what a ride!!!
when I recorded those loops I had so much fun with discovering how filters can guitars make sound like synths ... but you topped that!! awesome ...
did you change the track lately?? I think the dynamics is great, many different parts that are tied together perfectly (some great transitions in there!!!)
over all a pretty perfect production ...
thx for the credits!!!
peace, rei
oh, and one more: me and Eshar in one track, the first time!!! I guess I should dl some of her a capellas ....
What a trip. I went along for the ride, lol. Kinda reminds me of some movie music. Like something you would hear in a Guy Ritchie film or something. Pretty cool stuff man!
Hi,
Agree with Mr E about the silence but anyway it's a great track.Good use of Eshar's loop and the bassline is really great and solid
Nice one

My first impression is that this track bridges the gap between dub-step and the more traditional styles of dance style. Some really cool sounds in there, like the scratchy-wobble sound. The beat is cool touching on break-beat rather than the usual garage type step beat. I like that this track is different but the same, if ya catch my drift.
I really dig your breaks (like scratching?) shortly before the 2:00 mark. Nice surprise there - unexpected and mixes things up a bit. Also very sharp getting it to reflect the wobble in the bass.
I'm been playing around a bit around this genre (around because I just can't commit) and find some of the "rules" rather baffling. Listening to your work here, I'm wondering how you don't feel trapped by it - and you obviously don't because you're keeping it "live" and happening with the bass throughout. Is that the key? Focus on bass lines?
I like this one, and wonder if you're done with it. The only constructive criticism I can offer has to do with the tonality. In my ear, the drums are really distinct as they're so crisp sounding. Everything else is rather muddy (not bad, just thick) and I wonder about giving more definition to something else. In other words, keep the bass as thick sounding, but offer a bit more separation to the vocal effects for example. I think it'd offer a good dynamic as it'd add further emphasis to the bass.
hi nomad, you nailed it buddy, i agree with you 100% as have found ive had to try to use compression to get the bass under control..it would seem it is a bit loose upon the release and wanted to tighten it up. i am not finished yet, i took this to my mp3 player and headphones as well as my car and both seem to tell me the same..just as you have..need to bring the same clarity and seperation to all parts equal to the clarity of drums.i do, however, like the darkness of this track so want to leave the vox 'muddy' and nightmare[ish].i agree withyou that the rues are a bit weird to me and the whole 4-4 goes out the window.lol..i am drawn in by the 'raw' basslines and pur 'energy' involved with this genre..loving it and want to venture farther in..ive only ever made 2 dub trax..this one and one before 'dub a lub dub' and a radio station guy approached me for the use of it so this intrigued me.
have you posted up any youve made? let me know so as to have a listen. i thank you for your great guidence and look forward to nailing this one yet.

nice beats too and the squelchy bass is cool too
a little fast no? great sounds BTW the saw fills out nice. also i think the big bass drum is a little long winded. im listening with my AKG Dj headphones on though, and they have a mighty low frequency response, and i have the bass boost on. oh well cool track keep it up. also, wheres the breakdown?
you got me..i usually am around the 130 mark, i bumped this to 135. i may drop it back..and yes the low bass is crazy..may need to tone er down..not sure yet. thanks for the eview and great advice, much ppreciated ;]

So cool recognizing loops featured in other tracks, and hearing a different interpretation and take on the same sounds.
Great use of the `pella here, and it really finishes off creating a very South Asian sonic vibe. Nice one!
