I have no idea how you young people define these things.
Being an old fart this to me is electronic music and very very good electronic music.

I picked trip hop only because it's a slow tempo and get lot's of atmosphere stuff

The guitar is real
For the drum i used Addictive Drum and works hard to add a human feeling to the groove, but i've got to say that AD is a really great soft.
For the rest (keys and bass) it came from VSTI.
I pretty sure that the bass is quantize but i'm pretty sure i didn't used quantize for the synth.

Your song remind me of "echo and the bunnymen" or "joy division" and I like that in any song. Deep and dark, with a hopeful edge. You've done something special here.
There are so many people coming out of the woodwork here on Looperman right now, and it's great to see. Hardly ever have I hear a song like this in this arena.

For the bass i used differents things like the RC20 from XLN audio + I played with a step sequencer to change the groove + Eq compressor etc
The drum is from Addictive drum 2
