I love the synth. More drums would be better. I am just wondering, phoenix means rebirth, did you name it that because of how the song dies down then just comes back to life?

Very good track man, sounds great! I was expecting a longer closing because you have so much energy in the song by 3:20 and then in the next 15 seconds it goes away!!! It kept me going and then I was like "I wanted more" You know I was expecting a closing transition. My opinion, make a longer closing ;D but like I said.. is just my opinion.

Ok there mate. Now what you should do is as Travis mentioned add drums, and I would tweak up the high end on your hihats EQ.
Apart from that your synth sounds great.

ok... So it sounds better then?

But how can I tweak up the high end in FL studio (Do you have some links to a tutorial or something?)

Keep at it!! You'll get better with each song! Would give more insight but not really enough there to comment on! Great first efort though! Get used to kicks and percussion sections....that way you'll improve much quicker!!!!

Trance....mmmm...the techy synth sounds clear mate samples are good. Beef up the kick though it's wimpy, use more layered kickc / toms to make it sounds huge, and boost EQ wise at 100 to 150Hz. The melodic part is to loud but as I can hear from within the mix it's the feedback that make it louder. More variation to will be good, I like the idea though and if you read more on Eq and mastering you will make great tunes mate.

First of all Niclas I am not an authority on trance but what you have here is pretty good good intro then the rising build it kept me interested loved the cymbal crashes and the synth sounds were powerful yet nicely controlled not letting anything get too out of hand maybe just a little bit of tweaking in the final mix
equalization and blending and you will have a perfect trance track! nice Job for a first run!..............Johnny Gadget

For a first effort this is pretty good. This is admittedly not my style of music so I am not qualified to offer any insight from that point of view. From a production point of view I can offer this. It is very important to watch the levels (the amount of audio output) that you are getting from each track and on the master track. Too high a level causes what is called clipping (a distorted, crackling sound most of the time.) Your track has quite a bit of clipping, you might want to consider a remix (in this case I mean that literally, remix the levels, not like a club "remix" or something.) Sometimes your output is too high when you are recording a live track. It is very important to pay careful attention to this as recorded input cannot be adjusted later. The clipping on recorded audio will be there no matter how much you adjust a fader or the overall volume. One way to help hear this is to have some good flat-response (no bass, treble or mid boost) headphones and monitors. That way you can hear things exactly as they are being recorded or tracked. Hope that's helpful, and as long as you love what you do, you will find the improvement will come very quickly. Peace, Six

For a first track, you've done well. Very well built and your synth sounds wicked. Keep up the good work.
