I really like this one, sounds awesome spatially and to use audacity as the base is an amazing feat. Since you have got me back listening to old school post-disco,(Circa D-Train) High NRG, Minneapolis and the like, I have a link(2) U might enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVNPV5V6O24 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdEyZ3-OjU8
Enjoy. This is an awesome piece that you should finish ehh?

Thank you for your kind word. Yeah, I really like putting vocal chops into my EDM and Trap creations. And Looperman has a collection of some of the most diverse and creative vocal chops around.
I love the tech sound profile in this track. It gives it a funky futuristic vibe and that's my !sh. Great track, well mixed; levels are good and the sound is clear. Nice one Wikkid! Thanks for sharing!
Great energy here! Really cool kicks, it's a kind of sound wraps the ears, and i like it so much. Why not an adequate bassline? Especially in the central part, the song seems a tad ... something missing! In any case, i though work with audacity only must not have been easy, it allowed you to develop the track as it deserved. I have the same problem as your with the DAW... but i can't use Cool Edit Pro for my tracks, i feel not in comfort use it's rack. (Better edit some samples before insert them in FL Studio!)
Thanks for your comment and question.
There's a bassline running throughout the primary loop. It's just higher than some may be used to, however after I fiddled around and changed the key lower, I found that I liked the original key of the loop better. In another version I doubled the loop (added the lower version along with the original) but I kept coming back to this version as the one I liked best. Sometimes less is more :)
Sometimes it takes too long for Mixcraft to load on my laptop, and there are times my midi keyboard doesn't play well with it. So for ease of use I highly recommend Audacity (for PC users) as long as midi isn't involved.
I listened to your track. Great job. I heard how you framed much of the track around that dubstep sample, both chopping it up and using the full thing.
Thank you for stopping by and for your kind words. I'm just working out some things on the music production side, trying to learn as much as I can while checking out the different genres and sub-genres of music that are currently out there.
Thank you for your comment. Trial and error was at the heart of this tune, as I listened to a bunch of vocal snipets to find just the right ones. Some I thought would work didn't (even after matching the time signature and transposing). These are the ones that made the cut.
Thank you for listening and leaving a comment. Yeah, that section at 1:40 was something I questioned at first, because I wondered if the switch from dropping the beat and simply going with a childlike vox, then snapping back with a gale force dubstep would put some listeners off.
I kinda liked how it fit, so I decided to put it back in, though I'd deleted it at first. In the end, I decided to just go with it.
Thank you for taking the time to listen and comment.
At first the variations and how quickly I switched up gave me pause, but then I decided it was worth the risk, so I stopped second guessing myself.
The different texture of the this track gives it a unique feeling, the different changes in it are 100% on point and the vox work gives it a funky spin, love the R&B spin to it as well, awesome work Wikkid
Thanks. I'm not as prolific with creating from scratch as Joe Funk, but since he's gracious enough to share his talent by posting so many great loops, I decided he's one of my go to Loopers when creating a song.

Yes, thanks for the reminder about Snap, as they were one of my favorite groups back in the day.

There's a not so secret ingredient that I used, and his name is Joe Funktastic. His loops are FIRE.

Thank you for noticing that. I wasn't sure at first if it was too much of a deviation from the genre, but I decided to go big or go home :)
