Hi,

Thank you for listening and commenting. Yeah, I was a bit hesitant at first, but I decided to go with my gut feelings on this one and not try to over think things.

I'm still not as comfortable as I'd like to be with digital, since I still fall back on using analog, but I'm slowly getting accustomed to it.

First off I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't make anything for months after my cat died. (I live alone so that cat was my sole companion.) I give you kudos for coming back at all after a loss like that.
This has a nice poppy, airy, "let's go shopping & have fun" commercial kind of vibe to it. It's quite pleasant on the ears to listen to. So great job.

I too know how it feels to lose a beloved pet. They never judge, and they love unconditionally (though I did have a pit bull who was straight up crazy and was glued to me).

Music can be a healer, and it takes my mind off things so I decided to get back to being creative.

I can't take credit for it though. Sharpnotes had it in the loop, and it just made for a great addition imho, with it being a constant in the piece.

I could change a few things up, but sometimes its best to keep it simple.

Thanks. I've collected a number of interesting vocal samples, but neglected to properly name some them, unfortunately. Time for me to go thru Looperman and check who the creator is, because I'd like to thank him or her.

Really nice. I think the vocals are just a little to high in the mix. Not a hurtful comment just what I hear. I like the melody and song meaning.

I actually don't mind the track, the only real problem I find is that the instruments seem to be very quiet which makes the vocals seem to stand out a bit too much. Other than that it's pretty enjoyable.
