I really don't know this style well but what I hear, this is coming from your blood... :-)
Professional, superb music...thanx for sharin it guys
Ciao, Danke
I think I have learned to love the Latin styles through my drum studies. I don't have a drop of Latin blood in me and by no means am I an expert, but just love the rhythms. This is Franco's main style, though. I kinda follow his lead and he trusts me with the drums and percussion.
Wonderful guitar.
The flute solo is outstanding.
The drums are simply "perfect": tight and perfectly fitting.
Domenico
PS: If I have to pick out something that can be improved, maybe the overall mixing: the rythm guitar is a bit too-dry, and the guitar solo as well could benefit from some ambience, to increase the cohesion with the drum part, which sounds very "live".
But guyz, don't get me wrong: this song is really great!
(infact it's already a fav of mines)
Wow guys! This is superb! Really love the Latin vibe and as crucethus pointed out the flute solo was fantastic hitting in at around 3.30. I also like the guitar and especially the drums. They fit this piece very well. A plus guys! =B-)
The word smoooooth came to mind right away Scott...wish there was a real drummer in my neighbourhood (I have to settle for loops & samples most of the time)...Franco is a very talented guy so you`ve got good company on this one for sure...the big power in that lead guitar really contrasts nicely with the rhythm tracks and the flute is a really nice touch...Nice to hear this thoughtful kind of composing and talented playing here on the loop.....Its just a great track guys...guess it should be with the talent in the band....Ed
Thanks allot, Ed. We appreciate your kind words to help kick off our new Looperman page. We were accumulating several compilation tracks, so we figured opening up a page aside from our individual pages would be better served.
