There's something very chill about this loop, I played it and words came naturally :) would be great if u listen to what I did, and even more great if you like it and think we can do something !!
So what I can tell ya.... the direction you're going with this is obviously simplistic vocals (vibrato is nice), but yet smooth and jazzy which is the way I created the loop itself. Based upon the lyric choice, I definitely hear background "ooo's"," uh's", "ah's"... or something of
that nature that basically copies the chord progression (1maj 7- 4maj 7) but perhaps more legato. Or you could fill out the track with more instruments and a groovy bass line. All in all, it's apparent that the vocal will be the focal point. Let me know your thoughts and I can help ya see this thing through. (It's clear that the link you shared is simply brainstorming)
