I really like the words to this short poem. Your voice is very nice on the recitation also. I decided to use this vocal loop as a preface to one of my songs and borrowed the title of your poem. If you get the time please stop by and give the track a listen. It's a rather unusual collection of genres put together in one song but I hope it is in keeping with the spirit of your poem. -Ken
wow! What beautiful words here. You are no doubt a very talented writer. I will have to start using your stuff as intros or even an outro like this!
This particular track got me feeling really sad. Amazing how powerful words can be when you use them like you do!
Thank you :)
I think you're right that this would work equally well as an intro or outro...in fact you could even separate the two verses and have the first as the intro and the second as the outro...
I hope you can use it and would love to hear anything you make.

poetry, straight and clear.. i like it a lot, from rythm to colour, but i agree with steklo.
recording a voice ain't easy, you gotta have hardwares.. but if you manage to find some programs for homestudio and a cheap-but-not-that-cheap micro, you'll do a better work. nice voice though
The recording sounded ok to me or I wouldn't have uploaded it. But...I am working with pretty basic material. I'm not a professional by any means but my vocals have been used in professional tracks and the people that used the pellas seemed happy enough...and the mic I had then was much worse...so go figure as they say.
Thanks for the comments about my voice...much appreciated :)

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I just checked out the track on Soundcloud. Thanks for using my vocals and letting me hear. I could imagine the track working well in a club setting...I really dig the beat.

A nice acapella =) The fact that this isn't auto-tuned to death, and keeps in time is one of the few things that most of the acapella's on here lack =) I hope to use your acapella for a trance/dance track I am producing. I shall send you a mp3 file once I'm done =)
Very nice and relatable! I think everybody's been here once or twice.
I've looked at some of your other works...would you mind if I displayed them next year at my High School Spoken Word Club?
Wow that is probably one of the best requests I've ever had. If you contact me via the contact page then perhaps I can offer/show you some other stuff I have done.
Do you write too?
Thanks for your review and comments. :)

Hello My name is alejandro ... I have a project as a producer called Unit .. spanned genres from Techno to Minimal ... I would love to take your voice to any track ... 'll let you know when I'm done: D hopefully you like and cheers!
awsome lyrics! Most of the time we know when a relationship has run its course...
i remember 25 years ago i had a feeling like that sometimes things have to end.
it was a good thing, cus now i'm happy 3 kids and unexpected a 4 on the way.
Ah congratulations...do you have boys and girls already or just boys or just girls? I was lucky to have a girl and then two boys.
It's very true about knowing when something has run its course...thanks for leaving a review :)
This reminds me of stuff that was goin on back then. Will haveta play with this!
Tip for better recording- Try maintaining 6 to 12 inches (approx 1 decimeter?) away from the mic. This'll reduce/eliminate getting any pops & breath catches in your capture. Or if the mic is really weak (to where you can't really have it that far away) try holding it up higher (right around 1 cm off the bridge of your nose). Later on!
Hi DV,
my mic refuses to allow me to have it too far away from my mouth actually...I mean it doesn't beat me up lol, but I've noticed that unless I speak directly into it it picks up all the ambient noises around me. I probably just need a better mic...although your tip about holding it higher might work. Thanks :)
