Description : This was a fun track to do. I had just purchased my first virtual instruments program, M-Audio KeySession back in 2007. Did not know any such entity (Virtual Instruments) existed before then.
The song is called FONK, not FUNK, because I took every primary (in accordance to my era) genre of musical style and instrumentation and compiled it in this song. There is FUNK, HIP-HOP,COUNTRY, METAL, POP, JAZZ... Oh yeah...I used my vocal as an (instrument) also. Take a listen and see if you can pick out what genre style is what. The vocal is a given.
This was a blast to work on and I believe it came out pretty cool. Interested to see if there is the same consensus out there.

Description : Vibraphone, organ, and guitars produced a darkish track. I am not exactly sure that this is funk, though!

Description : Time to get FUNKY ! I asked Mista Perez to come up with a vocal track on a funk tune I wrote a few weeks back. Description : Something I did a few weeks ago and was going to add some more guitar on it , but had a system crash and lost the acid file! But here is wha happens when ya drink to many Redbulls and start writing music!! LOL I tried to get the feeling of jumping out of a plane and pulling that chord to slow it all down! Or how about a noose around ya neck and your wife is ready to pull it! Either way its the same Pull that String Nice and Hard ! enjoy! ;)

Description : Couple of Donald Fagen chord voicings. Worked hard on the drum track trying to keep it simple. Had to cut the bit rate to get it up on Looperman. :(
