Okay but you need to a) compare the volume to other tracks and b) listen to your mix with headphones as well. Studio monitors won't do everything for you man, but they are a good tool to have. You should always listen with headphones bc speakers will make everything sound stereo. Also you should always listen on different devices to ensure that it sounds right everywhere

Dude... Lol. I literally do all of that. My mixing abilities are pretty damn good, considering Ive been doing this for years. That is literally what I do before I even put any beat I produce out on soundcloud. Ive produced for several local rappers and they're all extremely pleased with my quality. This one, I rushed together and threw it on here, shit I could of made a 20x better drum loop, which Ill probably upload tomorrow.

oh also one more thing, it needs to be normalized which you can easily do in audacity... that makes it the max volume without clipping, since this is a bit quiet

I Eq'd it with a fruity Limiter, so The sound isnt clipping. I have a pair of Studio monitors that I make all of my sounds on, Trust me, Its not clipping. Plus the limiter keeps all the sounds all at a certain level.
