Description : Tried to get that classic-type-a-somewhat-of-a-live on-stage-Run-DMC-beat. Not sure if I succeeded?! I did all this on Cubase and I used old Korg Triton samples.
Description : I started this one out on an MPC 500 and finished it in Cubase 5. I was supposed to lay down vocals on this track...it's comin'....eventually. I'm a busy man. The original version contained DeLaSoul samples for personal use. Anyway this is the second mix without the samples (hence Capacity Mix).
Description : I picture this track in a movie (sci-fi flick) or a video game. Not even sure what genre it is?! Anyway I still have plenty of tracks just on the way. I just wanted to get this one out there to show my versatility. Stepped outta the comfort zone for this one. Has verses and chorus (just outta habit..).
Description : This is designed for a rap/freestyle session. It contains simple elements in an attempt to simulate maybe a group of MCs and a crowd standing around foot stomping, simple keys, and hand clapping. Yet it contains synths and efx to keep the sound more modern. MCs flow complex however. I would add crowd noise (ooohs and ahhhs) to coincide with punchlines. Structure: intro, verse, hook, verse, hook, break, verse, hook, outro. Of course the structure is adjustable.
