In 2008 things started to go very wrong and since then I have not held a "9 to 5" type job.
In 2008 I was diagnosed with Glaucoma and shortly afterwards Syringomyelia, which to cut a long story short, is a fluid filled cavity in the spinal chord. It has taken a long time to learn the best way to manage each day physically, as the Neurosurgeon is not keen to operate, things have gone very wrong in the meantime, but that's life, we deal with things and move on.
Recently I have been playing around with putting movies/videos together, at this stage with only the most basic tools which I am thoroughly enjoying. I guess it is quite similar to designing, (most jobs I have held), where something is being created or invented from scratch.
In the meantime, going back to 2008, I bought myself a guitar and started teaching myself how to play and have recently written several songs which I have done simply on the computer at home.
So the journey continues ... to where ? ..... time will tell.
