Wow, I'm really lost on here. Maybe I should get some sleep and tackle this site later...
I'm beat oriented because I like to dance, but I'm white so it can't be too complicated, lol, jk. I like arpeggios on the guitar but sometimes feel challenged making them for Dubstep which is weird because I know the common minor scales well, but I hear my own corny tunes coming through I guess.
(By play I am assuming we mean a novice's understanding of the workings of the instrument and not knowing all those fancy chords and triple taps and stuff):
Guitar, Bass, Keyboard and Drums
Renoise, Audacity, Abelton Live Lite (haven't had the patience to learn it yet and I'm used to Renoise now), Dub Turbo 2 (only good for samples), and demos of FL Studio and Reason which aren't that helpful obviously.
Alexis Q25 MIDI Controller and no, I haven't programmed it, I just scroll through samples til I find the one I want.
Nightwish, Ephixa, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Tek One, Nero, Flux Pavilion, Caspa & Rusko, Bassnectar, Dodge & Fuski, etc.
Dark Passion Play (Nightwish)
Metal, Dubstep, Hardstyle, DnB, electronic in general even early 90's type stuff, lol. Some Classical and even Country but I don't see Country as an influence but a Blue Grass beat can be kinda catchy. :P
If I could copy cat I'd sound like everyone else and sell tons of records if I catered to pop music.
Landscaping and job hunting because I'm not organized enough to start up this landscaping biz, but I might have to soon.
