I'm an oldskool style DJ. Miss the good old days of 2 black tech 12's and my 2 channel newmark mixer. Im not picky when it comes to what I like (or what I spin). Hip~Hop to Hard house and everything in-between. I've finally got around to learning the production side since we all know it's no longer about the DJ who spins. Its about the guy who put in the work to create that amazing record. And besides any good DJ spins 80 % his own work 20% other peeps stuff.
I spin records thats what I do. Give me two records of any genre, 5 min to review the Hardware setup and the records themselves and I will spin them like u've never heard before........
2003 I had FL 4 and 5 production version. I am now rocking the FL10 production version. Its familiar but hard to get that DNB sound I'm so desparately looking for. But I can make a mean effen Hard House beat no prob. I'll post some so ya'll can hear.
Just the outdated 2006 dell pentium w/ winxp, keyboard, and mouse.
Oldsckool ish for most kids theses days.... Some Guerilla warefare, Ram Trilogy, and the Renegade Hardware XV BABY YEAH! THATS MY SHTEEZE
TOOOOOOO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM!!!!
The truth of the matter is that I am heart and soul, 100%, a DNB head till the day I die. Ram Records (Andy C), Ewun, Fresh, Sage, Deiselboy,ED&optic;, PENDULUM, BULLETPROOF, EVOL, SPOR, KLUTE, KONFLICT, NOISIA, RENEGADE HARDWARE and just recent fan of Subfocus, Flux Pavilion and a few of the dubstep/drumstep folks who I'm unable to think of at this time
Even though Iam through and through a HARDCORE style DNB fan, it turns out my sound continuously ends up with a very psedo jump-up/fluid sound to it that i would aliken to my early days of electronica. Almost a john digweed meets tidyboys but at 187 bpm. Keep in mind i've only been religiously learning production for about two months now.Self taught, slow going but a natural if i do say so myself (and I do)....!
work is work is work is work..................
