I am an electronic amateur musician (more of a knob-twister, in fact) who performs under the Noyzemaker moniker since 2004. You can download my music - absolutely free - at http://noyzemaker.yolasite.com.
Sometimes, I also share forces (and madness) with my friend Marlin, a bassist and guitarist. The name of our band is Sonovnii. It's a blend of electronic, electric and acoustic music, with a lot of goofiness. Worth a listen, trust me!
I live in Rouyn-Noranda, a 40 000 people city located in Abitibi-Tmiscamingue, a region in northwestern Qubec in Canada. Winter here stays for about six months a year. A rough country, but with the most friendly people on Earth.
I'm a very good percusionist. Anything which produce sound can be an instrument in my hands.
My main tools of the trade are FL Studio 9 Producer Edition and Sony Sound Forge Pro 10.0.
Most of my music is composed on software. When I use hardware, it's more like headphones and mikes. In this case, I use Sennheiser HD 457 headphones and Sony F-V120 microphone. That's it, that's all.
Hard to recommend anything in what I listen, because it depends of the day and even of the hour. I have very extended tastes, which goes from IDM like Autechre to industrial metal like Ministry, with a little bit of acid-jazz, classical (mostly baroque), French synth-pop of the 1980s, cold minimalism like Pan Sonic, screaming static like Merzbow, or dark and alien ambient like Dead Voices On Air. Anything is worth a try, in my humble opinion.

My two main influences are Kraftwerk (of course!) for their arithmetical-style compositions, and 808 State for the groove. The old Delerium (1989-1992 era) and Raison d'Etre also play a role in my darker and more ambient tracks.
Otherwise, I also take a little bit of this and a little bit of that when I discover something new. In fact, my main influence is change.
For my Noyzemaker alter ego, imagine a blend of pure old-style electronic with a touch of drum'n'bass and some trips in the darker and colder side of ambient. Sometimes, I also flirt with rap and dub, but always with a smile.
And for Sonovnii, imagine anything and it will be its contrary.
I work as a journalist at Abitibi Express (http://www.abitibiexpress.ca) a weekly regional newspaper. I sometimes also work as a freelance journalist for the Couvert Boral, a trimestrial magazine specialized in forestry.
