Justin TFJ Stevenson, That F***er Jay, a tall skinny white boy about 6’3” 175lbs. Smart as hell and too smart for his own good, he got his first C in 8th grade and realized he didn’t have to get all A’s to survive. TFJ played soccer for years, basketball too. He is still undefeated in his hometown Turkey Bowl, leading his team to victory with Joe Montana-like precision. He grew up in Northern California in a middle class family and gave up the chance to have a paid ride through college to pursue his career in music. He is a funny, likeable guy, and makes you feel comfortable around him a few minutes after meeting him. His obsession with music is evident from his blog and growing web presence, but if you were to spend a few days of your life around this man, he will talk your head off about all the new news and music hitting the scene. He seems to genuinely enjoy life, and all of the things he is working on.

“Hip Hop for the good guys, and the honest women, who still know how to have a good time and get their gig on. I believe in people, positivity, exploration and understanding. Life is a gift. Life is a privilege. As spoken perfectly by my Bombshell Lil Mama, ‘Pursuit of happiness is my mission.’ Many of the new hits have amazing production but I have a hard time relating to the constant glorification of trashy behavior. Money isn’t everything. Value in life shouldn’t be measured by money. It is disturbing to me how many songs celebrate cheating and lying. I pity the fool who is naive, and thinks happiness is for sale. I find my happiness busting my ass doing the best I can everyday, enjoying my friends and family. I create sounds that relate to people trying to do the best they can. I feel like I’m one of the only artists who still wants to ‘do the right thing’. I’m good too.”
TFJ has played all over Sacramento, highlighted by the over flowing crowd when he opened up for Lil B and The Pack. Since moving to Southern California, he has performed in various locations including Zen Lounge Hermosa, Brennan’s, The Dragonfly, and The Key Club. Performing in Hollywood at shows with Too Short as well as Machine Gun Kelly.
