I have been tinkering with making bits of music since i had my first synth when i was 13. Its really a hobby and never fully completed a number of tracks as i tend to get bored of them after i have listened to them more than 200 times each. Have not tinkered for 5 years now and now have time to revisit my passion and so again i have started.
I play the keyboard by ear only, i cannot read music but i can create a catchy melody then compose and overlay the bassline to match.

Just replaced my trusty Roland D50 classic synth with a USB controller keyboard with lots of nobs and sliders
Everything and anything accept heavy metal. I love classical, orchestral, breakbeat, trance, dub step, chemical beats, chill out, electro, old skoool, electronic the list is really pretty much endless oh and i hate gabba. Massive Attack, Leftfield, Prodigy, Groove Armada, Art Department i could list forever.
I have left a massive partying scene after spanking the arse off it for 15 years i now live a much more secluded and sensible life although i havnt purchased slippers just yet. I used to work in the glorious outdoors but now i have a job as a desk monkey. lots of telephone calls and lots of coffee.
