Born in Lakenheath, Suffolk but residing in Swindon, I first got into the rave scene in 1990-91 after finding a mix tape on my way to school and after listening to it thought wow what is this stuff? It was something new with an exciting energy about it & I just caught the vibe from there, creating dance mix tapes on an old Aiwa stereo & turntable for friends.
Ive been Djing since 1995, when I starting off playing with Hip Hop beats before I got my first set of decks in 1996, where I moved onto Jungle / Drum & Bass & after a few years Djing on the free party / club circuit onto producing my own stuff by 2001.
I have obtained a NOCN Advanced Diploma in Contemporary Popular Music.
Covering a wide range of subjects such as Live Performance, Advanced DJ Skills, Sequencing, Recording, Keyboard Skills, Music Business, Event Promotion, Composition etc.
through Access 2 Musics DJ / Producer couse Creating Music Through Technology (CMTT) at their studios in Hengrove, Bristol where I tightened up my DJ / production skills & gained valuable knowledge of the business as well as new skills in various areas of interest.
Im a well-rounded, experienced & qualified DJ who's scratching & mixing abilities are guaranteed to get the dance floor shaking with my unique style any time of the night.
Predominantly a Drum & Bass DJ, Ive has been known to flex a variety of styles from Hip Hop, House & Speed / 2Step Garage to Techno under the influence of the legendary Dave Angel.
I have had residencies @ Hysteria, www.Darkfm.com, Pure Silk (UK Garage) & Blaze FM (Swindon) & have hosted & played @ various nights around the country from pubs to clubs, free parties to private parties, including radio shows on Solution FM Aylesbury & Swindon 105.5FM.
I am currently concentrating on production work and building my repertoire as a DJ / Producer alongside DJ Kurrupt (Urban-Kutz) under the name Urban-Dynamikz.
