Hello. I'm dustboxednorth. I'm a music producer (go figure), hobbyist vintage equipment collector, and digital graphics dabbler.
I play a very little bit of guitar and can usually improvise alright (at best) on keyboard.
I mostly use Ableton Live 10 for production and Audacity for mastering.
While I am hoping to expand my collection one of these days, I currently own an Arturia MicroBrute, a Mackie Micro Series 1402-VLZ Mixer, an Akai Rhythm Wolf (it's garbage, I know), a Yamaha DX-27 (I don't use it very often, as it requires a lot of menu sifting), a Novation LaunchPad Mk. II, a Blue Yeti, and a pair of AudioTechnica ATX-AD700X headphones. Lastly, I use a mid-2012 MacBook Pro that I'm hoping to ditch for a more recent M1 MacBook Pro within the next year or so.

I think my biggest influences are coda, Hainbach, dusthillguy, and Aphex Twin to name a few.
Many people have said that my music is "...for people who wash paper plates and throw away glassware" or "...for people who eat glass." It speaks for itself, I think. I'm not even sure who I can compare my music to, as I do so many different genres and styles.
...am unemployed! I'm a huge computer nerd, so usually I'll find some of my old computers around the house and install Linux on them. I also tend to go to garage sales and look around for cheap, used computers or gear.
