Music is alive. Music dies. The lifespan of sound is only as long as we want it to be, but it can last our whole lives too. The silence after songs is what gives us the time to understand what we heard.
I am a student at Washington College. My favorite genres to produce music in are electronica, jazz and classical, sometimes mixed.
My Dad is the reason I got into music. My parents don't play any instruments, but my dad loves all types of music and would play jazz every night during dinner out of the home speaker system. So I grew up, for about the first 10 years enjoying the plethora of soundscapes that is jazz. Then he got me an iPod and I started playing trombone. Nothing could stop me from then on.
I learned to play Trombone and at one point played classical percussion. But I jam on marimba and vibraphone and drums when I get a chance.
