About Me

I grew up in eastern Canada where you are surrounded by folk music. Although it was all around me it never really took hold of me. I began playing guitar young as my father had an old acoustic guitar in the house. My mother played piano and taught lessons but it wasn't something I picked up until recently. This is a regret of mine now. I've played in a few bands locally but nothing as of late. I have a home studio setup where I make loops and beats and write the occasional song. Take a listen and thanks for visiting my page.

Instruments I play

I have an Ibanez RG350 with an 18v mod and a EMG 81x and 85x. A Norman acoustic guitar and an LTD EC-404 bass.

I try my best at playing piano but still sharpening my skills.

Software I Use

Cockos Repear with a variety of plugins. Guitars through Guitar Rig 5 or Peavey Revalver. Drums are either Addictive Drums or Line of Legends. Keys are through a DSK Plugin.

Hardware I Use

M-Audio keystation 49 gets me by. A Roland Quad-Capture 2 input device, KRK Rockit 5 monitors along with a couple of Audio Technica AT2025 mics.

My Influences / Fav Artists

I would have to say my influences range from 90's hip hop and metal bands. There are too many influences to name but my beats are usually of the older feel. I like piano's and strings in beats. I gives a feeling. Scott Storch is definitely an influence when it comes to making beats. Around my 20's was when 50 Cent and Dr. Dre dropped albums and both had Storch all over them. I can be influenced by any music that has feeling and takes you on a journey throughout the song/album.

My Music Sounds Like

I don't know. You would have to tell me. I always found what came out of me to sound different than most stuff I have heard.
