I've wanted to be a DJ since I was 13 and never pursued it or even came close or studied or looked it up till now, when I'm 21. So, yeah. Taking my time.. Trying to be the next Q-Bert someday ;)
Oh I also write rhymes since I was 13 and was a battle MC and still write until this day but got bored, and uhm. I'm a skateboarder +D
Nothing. Never played any, never learnt any. Never even thought of it.
My favourite instrument was the TurnTables. So, here I am trying to be a manipulator of records.
Just learning all the basics off VirtualDJ right now, downloading free samples and loops from wherever I can, trying to mix or remix tracks to make heads bump.
Anything goes man, at this beginner level I don't think all this stuff is important. Once I'm a bit more knowledgable and I know the affects of hardware on music or the outcome then maybe I'll find my own specifications for them. Till then, you got a speaker or a earphone and virtual DJ, I just go on the net looking for loops and samples to improvise on. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

I'm just trying to study and educate myself as much as I can with tutorials, lessons, tips and Digital Interface (super gay) until I have a steady job and can afford real equipment ;)
I plan to be the type who plays music probably on CDeejay' s and off the laptop then mix and scratch on vinyl's cause I do intend to be a ninja someday.
Gonna be tough, cause I'd probably play tunes I love more than what people like, but that's too bad eh?
I'm pretty poor so like I have to work any job and it's usually down-low indoor jobs that I don't interact with people and 9-5's cause I have no choice.
I'm accustomed to live cheque to cheque, so I don't think I'll be interested in making money out of music just yet. Sure seems like I'm gonna be spending a lot =P
