I started trying to produce some noises long time ago. Started with a PC and a AWE32 card, then getting some analogue stuff. Then migrating to a full software setup using Mac, Reason, Live, NI.
At the end, I go for real instruments, I feel a real connection with the music using real instruments. And now I can say that really is a lot different the full digital sound vs analogue. I'm not mean one is better than other, they just are different, and I prefer analogue (or digital processed with analogue gear)
Now I'm trying to produce techno tracks for live performance, without using computers (well, just using it for sample manipulation and recoding). So all the stuff published here are live performances recorded straight with the PC, then masterized and mp3 encoded.
I want to make music just to make people dance. A good beat/bass. One or two synth grooves. And ambient and fx sounds. Just that. Oh, and of course just live performances.
I try to play and manipulate the Electribe EMX. Trying to feel it and make sound it like a real new instrument. Jeff Miles's 909 performances inspired a lot.
I play the Kaossilator too ;)
And th eguitar (maybe I forget how to do that)
