Worship musician since 2009. Currently in Sing Glory, a worship duo with my friend Trudi Bils. We're older but still fresh.
Guitar, Bass, Drums, keys, percussion.
Bandlab, GB, Ableton, Audacity. I send my mixes to a mastering engineer who does them better in Protools.
I setup all the mics for doing an acoustic duo... V67G's, some Beta 58's on guitar then get a killer reverbed mix like the 60's in the cans. I route all the Aux sends into the H6 dry and also the stereo headphone mix and just hit record. We play for an hour or so. I pull everything off the card and edit it down in Audacity later. That way we get a live session feel singing and playing everything in real time.
Zoom H6, Behrringer X18, Zoom H2. iMac. iPad, iTrack Solo. I use a really bizarre approach to recording because I mostly do live sessions and don't want to get bogged down pushing buttons.
Mostly my own takes trying to improve them. It's weird now because I'm mostly about playing rather than listening.

60's live sessions, early rock and folk mostly but a little of everything else.
Early jangle rock. We're trying to sound a lot like the Byrds these days in my church band.
I actually don't have another life. I do music full time at a church. I'm pretty boring ;-)
