Julian Patrick Quinn from Tx, just got back into producing (made alot of rap beats from scratch when I was 15 before I knew about this site) because I went to a rave for the first time. Life altering substances and sounds. I have been playing guitar/banjo for many years and prefer playing '50s, '60s, and '00s covers while also writing original songs. I released a folk album 2015. just lost my mic so I'm limited to only the laptop (which is a 2007 Dell, Windows XP btw - it's very hard to do complex stuff because of slow CPU, which i hate because complexity is where it's at.)

Zebbler Encati Experience, John Cage, Car Bomb, Angerfist, The Avett Brothers, Django Reinhardt, Can, Father John Misty, Chopin, and anything psychedelic, heavy, or mentally stimulating. Influences come from everywhere: filling a glass with water, peeing, rocks scraping across pavement. Sound and inspiration is EVERYWHERE! I don't like the timbre of certain pop vocalists.
I'm experimenting with genres of edm right now but focusing on a mix between psytrance, trap, riddim, and gabber I suppose. But I like to sample some of my classical and jazz vinyls and put them over beats, not sure what to call that...
