I'm a (watercolorist) Fine Artist. I do play guitar. I like to record but haven't lately.
I recently started making short videos and I came to Looperman.com to explore the loop tracks and to get some recording ideas.

Simple Flash Memory Card in a digital format/unit.
The last unit I used to record with was a Fostex MR8 Digital 8-track Recorder.
At the moment it's Randy Rhoads. Although I get earworms and it could be anyone any song. My brain stores music in an interesting way all on it's own. Many times I am just a 'witness' to what the brain is doing when it stores music for itself.
Hard to pick, but if I had to choose I'd pick Chants of India (produced by G. Harrison/Ravi Shankar) Anoushka, Bridge of Sighs, Abbey Road, George Jones box-set, all Steely Dan, Beatles complete set, Destroyer, Kinks complete,Complete Frank Sinatra, complete Dean Martin, all Johnny Cash, T.Rex complete, Miles Davis, Coltrane, Smashing Pumpkins complete, Sabbath complete, ZZ Top complete, Leon Russell complete, Dolly Parton Grass is Blue, Earl Scruggs review, Flatt and Scruggs at Carnegie Hall, Hendrix Band of Gypsys, Grateful Dead complete, Ronnie Robinson Red Road Ensemble, POCO complete, Tomita Snowflakes are Dancing, Captain Beefheart complete, Frank Zappa Montana.....(I'll add more later)
Classical influences like Sibelius, Handel, Hayden, Mendelssohn, Satie, Chopin,St. Saint-Sans, Schubert, Bach, sitar & more.
Modern Jazz, blues, R&B, rock, country classics.
If music is good it's good and I'm often surprised to learn about new talent. I don't ever rule out a genre. Even rap is good when it's good.
When I record it's always solo with layers. Simple stuff really.
Most recently I am a TOEFL English Teacher (teacher of English to Foreign Learners).
