About Me

I'm... a dentist, :-D yes, just a dentist, but I always loved music. I attended, when I was at school, for 4 years a course in a music academy where I learned to play drums. I played 50s and 60s rock'n'roll, rythm'n'blues and twist with a band for about 12 years, then, when each of us has finished university, we unfortunately loosed us and everyone continued its path. I never lost my enthusiasm for music, so nowadays, even if I'm not able to write music, (I'm able to make just music rhythm) I make music by assembling "prefabricated" loops that I find here and at other free libraries, or, if there's someone who needs it, I restore old songs from damaged LPs or tapes.

Instruments I play

The only instrument I continue to play are my drums!

Software I Use

Propellerheads Reason
Adobe Audition
Cakewalk Sonar
Kontakt
Toontrak EZ Drummer

Hardware I Use

RME HDSP 9632 soundcard with ADI-8 QS and all
connect equipment: equalizer, spectrograph, a pair of TC electronic signal processors, Lucid wordclock and my old but always excellent Technics Reel tape recorder.

Listening To Right Now

If I had to write all artist I listen I assume that I would consume all the space on this site :-), but, to have some example, I listen to Glenn Miller, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Smokey Robinson, Beatles, Rolling stones, Marvin Gaye, James Brown or, for the 70s disco, the Chic, C.J. & co., Sylvester, Village people, Cerrone, Sister Sledge and many others.

My Influences / Fav Artists

Ma favourite artists? Almost all those who created music in the late 40s, 50s and 60s and the 70s disco and progressive rock of late 70s and firts 80s.

My Music Sounds Like

My music sounds like... music! :-D
I make music as my inspiration says to me in an exact moment. I made romantic songs, or one like 70s disco, or another as soundtrack for a movie that my frieds has made for a producer. I don't follow an exact genre, but I surely prefer quiet music or the rhythmic one, but as God commands, not like the noise that today still dare to call "music".

In My Other Life I ...
