BIO:

"Dat 2K hippie." Three words that Se7eN uses to describe himself often.
"I'm amped now that I truly understand that I'm alive and free."

Se7eN. His body consumed by tattoos of '7' and 'Born Leader'. "This is my mentality. I Am Se7eN....a born leader." And his music certainly confirms this.

His swagger, usage of word play and details in his rhymes would normally be enough to succeed, however Se7eN understands that he stands for more.
"I'm a child of God. We all are. I'm also a product of my environment, so I relate to people on several different levels. Oh yeah, I relate."

The diversity in Se7eN's music is truly what sets him apart. Each track delivered gives something you wouldn't expect, but exactly what you wanna expect from an artist. Party music, hood bangers, drum n bass, R&B features, trance. If it has a tempo, it can have Se7eN. "Growing up fatherless and bouncing from home to home was a blessing to me. It made me stronger and taught me how to understand different environments."

So after coming back from college (you heard it right), Se7eN began to find himself. "When I sit down and just think, music always comes to me. So the more I thought about what I need to do with myself, the more beats I kept hearing in my head. The more lyrics I kept putting to em."
But Derrick Crew from Broward County had not come out of his shell until 2008. "I decided that my family and friends around me were suffering too much financially. I KNEW I could rap circles around most cats on the radio, just never really 'did' it." Then he met DJ Phil.

"Philly Phil taught me to go HARD! Forget a hater, do you and get respected by being exactly who you are." A few months later, DJ Phil was murdered. "Man, Phil pushed me harder than ANYONE. But he showed me what I was capable of doing, which is anything I put my mind to, focus, and never stop. He's gone, but I'm still alive to carry out everything he saw in me. He really believed in me."

So being a solid member of the "I'm Alive Entertainment" team is where Se7eN feels he belongs. He keeps plenty busy blazing shows all over south Florida with fellow artist Jay Smoove (R&B), blazing mics from QuickTrackz to Studio Center ( Miami ), and participating in numerous events for the local kids. With his buzz growing and craft being perfected, the future is crystal clear from here.
