Cula, real name Thato Tlhaku was born in Temba a township 40km north of Tshwane (Pretoria) in South Africa. He was introduced to the world of Deep House Music by his cousin then later developed an intrest in production. He then joined a crew of young producers, giving birth to Oral Deep in 2007. Inspired by the legendary African musician Tlokwe Sehume, he adapted african sounds into his music producing Afro Deep. In 2009 the Oral Deep boys started thier own label Gem Shack Music. Oral Deep released thier first EP in 2010 titled The Promised Land EP. Today these boys are making their way up in the House Music industry making beautiful music!
