About Me

Timo Meulenbrug AKA Ian Kayell is a 24 year old producer hailing from The Netherlands.
His musical journey began at the age of 15.
On recommendation of PotencY(soundcloud), Timo started making music in Fruity Loops.
Even though his compositions were great, they still lacked the quality he had hoped for.

Only by constantly improving his producing skills and his knowledge as well, he managed to become better. And he astonishly did.
Prone with every genre, but exceptionally skilled within the borders of Progressive music, he can finally recreate whatever musical innovation he comes up with, while constantly polishing his production skills and forming his very own style.
Now it is time for the next step into the highly immersive world of EDM music production.
He is ready for a new challenge.

PS: i never attended a music related study, never learned to read music.
I only followed IT/ICT study for 3 years, got my degree and thats that.

Instruments I play

i played the drums a little back in the day, nothing much.
i played keyboards also nothing much.
played guitar...
now i only use FL studio with a simple mouse and keyboard.

Hardware I Use

I bought myself a midi with 2 octaves a few years back, yet never seem to need it.
I have an Equalizer plugged in, the little "ProMix 303" stereo mixer just to go from A to B.

I also bought myself the LIMITED edition ferrari red KRK RP6 Rokit G2 studio monitors WITH mopads.
and just build my own pc-rig shizz worthy of around 1200 euro's.
Got a philips tv plugged in as my pc-monitor.
big screen, really handy and awsome.
