About Me

i'm making music (or trying to..) since about 11years. first i just had my computer to work on, later on i bought a roland jv-1080, then later an akai sampler which was never really being used yet, and least a smaller roland-synth. after i have made (nearly) NO music for the last 4 years, now i landed here as i was looking for a bunch of samples giving me new inspirations.

Instruments I play

keyboards (one-handed, four-fingered)...hehe - no i cant really play an instrument. i can't even read notes as fast as i have to to play an instrument...

Software I Use

Cubase, WaveLab, Acid, some shareware or trial-versions of softsynths like RubberDuck (i really love that one!)

Hardware I Use

Roland JV-1080 + Techno- and Bass&Drums-Expansionboards
Roland JV-880 + HipHop-Expansionboard
Akai S2000 + EB16
Ensoniq EPS (as masterkeyboard)

Listening To Right Now

uuh, thats too much stuff to pick out only 10 of them. to the top 10 listed below i should add artists like apocalyptica, at the drive-in, basement jaxx, beastie boys, beatsteaks, biohazard, bjrk, chemical brothers, console, crystal method, disturbed, fatboy slim, laberinto, lamb, machine head, massive attack, monster magnet, nirvana, pantera and many many many more... theres so much music i really love. nah, i should be smacked up not to mention tool & a perfect circle, but i have to leave out many artist that made (or keep making) really outstanding stuff. I'm just not trapped in one kind of genre...

My Influences / Fav Artists

all kinds of electronic music and electronically influenced music since the 1970s. The classic alltime favourite blow-your-mind piece is "Lucifer" from the Alan Parsons Project. I was 7 years old when i first heard it and it really told me: "yeah thats what i wanna do in life!" ;)

My Music Sounds Like

the music comes straight out of my fingers. inspirations come from the sounds of the synths/samples. when i start making music i dont know how it will sound like when its finished. my music kind of "builds itself".^^
