Born Ken Chad Jr in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) 1986, Rhythm was always a musically and intellectually gifted child. Born to a low budget family in a struggling time he often saw the flaws of modern societies and grew up full well understanding the problems of his family and neighbors. Often moving from home to home and city to city Rhythm learned quickly in his life to be independent and found joy in music since no matter where he went people loved music.
Raised on Classic Rock such as Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, Bob Seagar and other greats rhythm was amazed at the boundaries these legends broke and mass of people they spoke to but also realized that the songs he enjoyed the most were songs with obvious meaning and soul. However great Rhythm perceived the music of his parents however it just didn't fit his lifestyle and surroundings so he searched for more music to submerge himself into. It was during the period of his parents divorce while bouncing from city to city from parent to parent when he was introduced to Hip Hop. Times for Rhythms family had only worsened thru the 13 yrs of his life and the music spoke directly to him. It painted a picture of a city of a block of a street and situation that was going on all around him. Needing money, Bills to pay, rivals who wanted the money you hustled for so you could eat that week, it all was there and from that moment on while still respectin and even listening to other music genres hip hop became his soul...Eventually settling in the city of Guelph Rhythm met up with his dawg Dj Goldz...Sharing a passion for music the two quickly developed there individual talents and forged a partnership destined to take them to the top...Rhythm currently lives in Vancouver Bc where him and Dj Goldz are solidifying there positions as new aged hip hop Artists.

I've self dubbed my music "Ghetto Gothic"... A sound I feel accurately represents Canada's Urban Youth of today by mixing raw emotions of everyday life...My songs vary from hardcore "thug" (if thats what u wanna call it) to softer emotional songs that anyone can relate to...dealing wit financial problems, family problems, and anytin else one might encounter....Hip Hop is a real music so i bring the real shit I encounter as an Urban citizen.
