Currently finishing up a spoken word album, featuring a combination of acoustic and electronic backing (commercial loops + my own loops)and weird-ass sound effects. Spoken lyric content is anti-mainstream, anti-minivan, anti-whitebread, and very sarcastic. Hope to release later this year (2013).
Various harmonicas: recorded via all manner of microphones and amps., then processed according to the needs of whatever song I'm working on.

Various hand percussion.
Vocals: mainly baritone, but sometimes bass and tenor.
Voice-overs. I do this professionally on a part-time basis.

Martyn Joseph "Evolved." He's a fabulous folk artist from Wales. Have seen him twice here in Canada. Well worth checking out, if only for his songwriting chops.
Kraftwerk "Autobahn."
Judas Priest "British Steel."
Dave Brubeck "Take Five."
Mary Chapin Carpenter "A Place in The World."
Any compilation of Fats Waller material.
40s big band. 50s bee bop. 50s rockers. 70s hard rock and early metal. 90s-and-forward ambient, chill, indie-rock, trance. Oh, all sorts of stuff. If it's done well and sounds good, regardless of genre, than that's cool with me.
Benny Goodman. Tom Waites. Muddy Waters. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Big Sugar. Nina Simone. BT. Jacques Louissier. Tom Jones.
Oh, hell, lots of people ...
My Blues stuff doesn't really sound like anyone. People say I'm a "Blues-Fusion" artist.
My spoken word has Tom Waites leanings. We'll see what folks say when the 1st album is released.
